The Fragmented Logs quest is one of the trickier missions in Arc Raiders not because the objectives are complex, but because Stella Montis actively fights you at every step. Shredders patrol every location you need to visit, other players are hunting the same corridors, and the map itself is a labyrinth that swallows unprepared raiders whole. This guide cuts through all of that and gets you to each terminal fast.
What is the Fragmented Logs quest in Arc Raiders?
Shani assigns this quest immediately after you finish the Dust on the Wires mission, as part of the Flashpoint update content. The premise is straightforward: power up old machines scattered across Stella Montis to recover historical data about the region. Three objectives, all on the same map, completable across multiple runs if needed.
Before you load in, there is one hard requirement you cannot skip.
warning
You must bring 1x Electrical Component from your stash to repair the out-of-service terminal. Attempting this quest with a free loadout means hunting for the component mid-raid, which wastes time and puts you at serious risk. If you do not have one, craft it using 4x Rubber Parts and 8x Plastic Parts before queuing.

How to repair the out-of-service terminal
Head to the Sandbox POI in the central section of Stella Montis. What most players get wrong here is searching inside the Robotic Sandbox rooms themselves. The terminal is not in either sandbox. It is in the control room, a named location sitting between the two sandbox areas on the map.
Enter the control room and look for the terminal on the southern wall, facing toward Robotic Sandbox B. Approach it and you will see the repair prompt. Use your Electrical Component to replace the faulty parts and complete the objective.
info
There are actually two control rooms, one on the south side and one on the north. Either works. The south control room tends to be slightly easier to reach from most spawn points on Stella Montis.

How to enable the power in the conduit backrooms
With the terminal repaired, move toward Robotic Sandbox A and navigate to its east side. You are looking for the path that leads toward Control Room A3. The conduit backroom is a small side room off this corridor, easy to miss if you are moving quickly.
Inside, you will find a power switch with yellow electrical tape marking the terminal housing. Interact with it to flip the main power switch and complete the second objective. The yellow tape is your visual cue that this is the right terminal.
info
According to multiple playthroughs, this conduit backroom is east of Robotic Sandbox A. If you overshoot toward Control Room A3 itself, you have gone too far. Backtrack slightly and check the side rooms.

How to boot the mainframe data terminal in the Cultural Archives service backrooms
The final stop is the Cultural Archives, located on the far east side of Stella Montis. This is the longest travel leg of the quest, so stay alert for Shredder patrols and watch for other players pushing the same objective.
Once inside the Cultural Archives, you want the service backrooms, which sit near the middle of the location. On your map, look for a small section that juts out away from the main archive building. Head into that jutting section and find the terminal at the back. The interaction prompt reads Bring Online. Activate it to complete the quest.
What are the rewards for completing Fragmented Logs?
Finishing all three objectives earns you:
- 3x Showstopper
- 3x Trailblazer
The quest takes roughly 10 to 15 minutes in a calm lobby. Hot lobbies with heavy PvP pressure can stretch that considerably, particularly around the Cultural Archives, which sits in a high-traffic area.
Tips for surviving Stella Montis during this quest
Every location this quest sends you to is Shredder territory. Here is what helps:
- Clear before interacting. Terminal interactions lock your character in place. Shredders will down you mid-animation without hesitation. Sweep the room before touching anything.
- Check the minimap constantly. The conduit backrooms and Cultural Archives service areas have limited sightlines. Players can flank you while you are focused on the objective.
- Do not rush the Cultural Archives. It is the farthest point on the map and the most contested. If your squad is low on health or ammo, consider extracting and returning in a fresh run since the quest does not require a single-run completion.
- Bring a loadout, not a free kit. The Electrical Component alone justifies running a proper loadout. You are also deep in Shredder-heavy zones, so free gear will not cut it here.
