Totenreich is the newest map to hit Black Ops 7 Zombies, and it packs two secrets worth chasing from the moment you drop in. The Jotunn Star is the map's Wonder Weapon, and getting it requires a multi-step quest that takes you from a dockside crane puzzle all the way to the top of a Lighthouse.
How to get the Jotunn Star Wonder Weapon in Totenreich
The Jotunn Star is locked behind a chain of steps spread across several areas of the map. Rushing any one part without completing the others will leave you stuck, so follow this sequence carefully.
Step 1: Get the Chain Links at Dry Dock
The first item you need is the Chain Links, found at the tip of the large stationary boat in Dry Dock. The catch is that there's no direct way to board the boat. Instead, find the room to the left of the boat and press the button inside. This activates a nearby crane that lowers a container.
You need to jump onto the moving container and then wall-jump from it to reach the front tip of the boat. You will almost certainly fall the first time. The good news is that the Chain Links are collected on contact during the jump, so even a failed landing still gets you the item.
The container window is tight. Get to the button room as early as possible in a round so you have breathing room to attempt the jump without zombies on your back.
Step 2: Collect the Lantern and Chili Chunks
Two more items are required before you can progress:
- Lantern: Survive to Wave 10, which triggers a special round. Clear every enemy in that wave, and the Lantern drops as a guaranteed reward.
- Chili Chunks: Found behind a truck parked next to the Deadshot Daiquiri machine on Storm Bridge. It's a straightforward pickup once you know where to look.
Do not attempt to enter the Burial Grounds shrine before collecting all three items. The Chain Links open the door, but the sequence inside requires the Lantern and Chili Chunks to be in your inventory.

Step 3: Solve the constellation puzzle at Burial Grounds
With all three items in hand, head to Burial Grounds and use the Chain Links to open the locked door. Go down to the basement and place the Lantern on the tomb in the center of the room. This triggers a lockdown, so kill every zombie that spawns before doing anything else.
Once the room is clear, interact with the constellation symbols on the walls. Using the shrine's opening door as your directional reference, the correct activation order is:
- Left
- Right
- Back
- Front
Get this right and the ghost of Astrid appears.
Step 4: Follow Astrid to the Lighthouse
Astrid's ghost leads you to the Lighthouse, but she moves at her own pace. If she stops, kill zombies near her position. Their souls feed the spectre and get her moving again.
Take the zipline to the Lighthouse area and wait for Astrid to arrive. She creates platforms you can use to climb up the exterior. Find the broken entrance on the side of the structure and head inside. Use the stairs and the interior platforms to reach the very top.
The Jotunn Star sits waiting at the summit. Pick it up, and you can take it straight to a Pack-A-Punch machine to upgrade it.
The Jotunn Star can be upgraded via Pack-A-Punch like any other weapon. Given the effort required to obtain it, upgrading immediately is worth the points investment.
Both secrets are doable in a single run if you plan your route. Grab the Chili Chunks and start working toward Wave 10 early, use the crane jump for the Chain Links between rounds, and sweep up the Mister Peeks Headphones while rotating between objectives. The Jotunn Star quest is the heavier lift, but the payoff of having a Wonder Weapon for the later waves makes the whole run considerably more manageable.
