Bot lobbies in Fortnite are a relaxed way to collect Sprites, grind XP, and secure a Victory Royale without sweating through a full public match. The problem is that the Sprite pool is heavily restricted in these lobbies. Out of nearly 90 Sprites in the game right now, only 14 are actually available when you're playing against bots. If you're trying to complete your collection, that ceiling hits fast.
What Sprites can you get in Fortnite bot lobbies?
The 14 Sprites available in bot lobbies are all base-tier options. These are the ones you'll find in Relic Chests and Sprite Chests during any bot lobby match. They cover the core elemental and character Sprites that most players pick up early in the season.
Here's the complete list:
Base Sprites from bot lobbies
What Sprites are locked out of bot lobbies?
This is where things get restrictive. A full 18 Sprite types and their variants are completely unavailable in bot lobbies. That includes some of the most sought-after Sprites in Chapter 7 Season 3, from the Cube Sprites and Galaxy Sprites to collabs like the John Wick Sprite, Batman Sprite, and Vini Jr. Sprite. The recently added Quack Sprites are also off the table.
Opening every chest in a bot lobby match won't change this. The spawn tables simply don't include these Sprites when you're not in a public lobby.
Is it worth grinding bot lobbies for Sprites at all?
Depends on what you're after. If you're early in the season and just want to build up a base collection of Sprites to work with, bot lobbies are a perfectly efficient way to do it. You'll grab all 14 available Sprites without much friction, and the guaranteed Victory Royale means you're also banking XP and Sprite Dust along the way.
The issue comes when you want to trade Sprites with other players. The 14 bot lobby Sprites are so common at this point in the season that most players already have duplicates. Offering a Water Sprite or Fire Sprite in a trade isn't going to get you much in return. To have anything worth trading, you need rarer variants from public lobbies.

How to get the Sprites that don't spawn in bot lobbies
For the 18 Sprites locked to public lobbies, the approach varies depending on the specific Sprite type. Galaxy Sprites have their own spawn conditions tied to specific locations on the map. Cube Sprites require finding Cube Chest locations. Collab Sprites like John Wick and Batman have dedicated acquisition methods.
The full Sprite abilities breakdown covers every Sprite type currently in Chapter 7 Season 3 by rarity, which is the best starting point for planning which ones to chase first. For chest-based Sprites specifically, the Sprite Chest locations guide maps out all 33 chest spots across the map so you can plan efficient routes.
