Batman brought more than just a cape to Fortnite this season. The Hot Bat Summer event dropped a range of Bat-themed gear across the island, and one of the standout additions is Batman's Beach Buggy, a vehicle you'll need to track down for a specific event quest. Finding it is the tricky part since it doesn't sit in one fixed spot waiting for you.
Where does Batman's Beach Buggy spawn in Fortnite?
The Beach Buggy has no single permanent location. It works on a random spawn system, similar to how Sprite Chests and other rare vehicles cycle through possible spots each match. You might find it at one location in round one and not see it there again for several games.
After testing across multiple matches, here are the confirmed spawn points:
| Spawn Location | Landmark | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Batcave entrance | Center of the Batcave | Parked directly on the Batman logo |
| Frosted Flats (northeast corner) | Near the POI road | Parked along the road |
| West of Sinister Strip | Small parking lot | Next to a Dark Voyager black and orange building |
The Batcave is the most reliable starting point since it's thematically tied to the Hot Bat Summer event and tends to be a high-traffic area for Batman-related quests anyway. Head there first, and if the buggy isn't there, rotate toward Frosted Flats.

How to complete the joyride quest
The quest itself is simpler than the hunt. To mark "Take a joyride in Batman's Beach Buggy" as complete, you only need to get inside the vehicle once. You don't have to drive a set distance, hit a ramp, or do anything beyond entering the driver's seat. The moment you hop in, the Hot Bat Summer quest registers as finished and you move one step closer to acquiring the Batman Sprite.

How does Batman's Beach Buggy handle?
On flat ground, the Beach Buggy drives like any standard Fortnite car. Your platform-specific controls appear in the bottom-left corner of the screen while you're behind the wheel, so there's no new control scheme to memorize.
The feature that sets it apart from every other vehicle on the island is flight. Drive off a cliff, mountain, or any elevated surface at speed and wings deploy from the sides of the buggy, letting you glide through the air for a short duration. It's not infinite flight, but it's enough to cover real distance or dodge a fight by going airborne unexpectedly.
What else should you do during Hot Bat Summer?
The Beach Buggy quest is just one piece of the Hot Bat Summer event. With a fast vehicle that can fly now in your hands, the island opens up considerably. Sprite extraction is another major activity this season, and our guide on how to extract Sprites in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 walks through the full process for earning Sprite Dust and building out your collection.
If you're also working through general Chapter 7 Season 3 content, the Duck Race at Heatwave Harbor is worth completing for the Mythic Striker Pump Shotgun reward alone.
