Each bubble requires you to solve a short riddle before it spawns, then physically pop it to claim the emoji. If you miss the collection window, you're out of luck until the event returns. How does the Movie Guide emoji system work?
Bubbles won't appear until you activate them through the Movie Guide banner. Tap the world icon at the top of your screen, find "Movie Guide" in the list, and open it. From there, tap each unlocked icon to read its riddle. This makes the bubble spawn in the world.
Skip this step and you'll search forever. Once a bubble spawns, it drifts back and forth near a specific landmark. Walk into it to pop it and add the emoji to your collection.

Week one emoji bubble locations
Week one's pair spawns in two locations: Art Street in the central town area, and Amethyst Beach near the Flower Field.
Aura of Scent emoji
The name implies flowers, but this bubble actually floats at Amethyst Beach, hovering above a fence near the drive-in movie theatre building on the shore. A launch bug swapped the two week-one bubble locations, so early players may have found this one elsewhere.
The reward is a seagull emoji wearing red and blue 3D glasses while seated in a cinema chair.
Best Soundtrack emoji
Go to Art Street, which sits left of the central square where the main shops are. Look for the white piano in the garden section of Art Street. The bubble circles the piano, so stand near it and wait for the bubble to drift close enough to pop.
The reward is a seagull holding a golden award statue, clearly riffing on Oscar night.
Week two emoji bubble locations
Week two sends you back to Amethyst Beach and out to the Deer Tower in the Forest. Both are quick to reach if you know the landmarks.
Dreaming of the Sand emoji
This bubble sits on the left side of Amethyst Beach, south of Windmill Flower Field, right beside the movie theatre pop-up location. It's impossible to miss once you're standing near the temporary cinema structure. The emoji is a bird shushing you, fitting for a cinema-themed event.
Forest Foraging emoji
Head to the Deer Tower in the Forest and look for Patti's location near the front fence. The bubble circles the fence line around the tower. The reward is a bird foraging greens, appropriate given how much time you likely spend gathering resources here.
