The HeartopiaDreamlight Cinematics event hides six collectible emoji bubbles across the game world, two per week for three weeks. Each one is locked behind a short riddle, and you have to physically pop the bubble to claim the emoji. Miss the window, and it's gone until the event cycles. Here's every location, no riddle-solving required.
How does the Movie Guide emoji system work?
Before you can spot any bubbles, you need to activate them through the Movie Guide banner. Tap the world icon at the top of your screen, locate "Movie Guide" in the list, and open the banner. From there, tap each unlocked icon to read its riddle, which triggers the bubble to spawn in the world.
Skipping this step means the bubbles simply won't appear, no matter how long you search. Once spawned, each bubble drifts back and forth near a specific landmark. Run into it to pop it and add the emoji to your collection.

You cannot collect all six bubbles at once. Two new ones unlock each week, starting from week one. Check back every week to grab the next pair before the event ends.

Week one emoji bubble locations
Week one's pair spawns in two spots: Art Street in the main town area, and Amethyst Beach near the Flower Field.
Aura of Scent emoji
Despite the name suggesting flowers, this bubble is actually found at Amethyst Beach, floating back and forth above a fence near the drive-in movie theatre building on the shore. There was a confirmed bug at launch that swapped the two week-one bubble locations.
The reward is a seagull emoji wearing red and blue 3D glasses while sitting in a cinema seat.

If you launched the event on day one and grabbed the "Aura of Scent" bubble from Art Street, you may have picked it up during the bugged window. The locations are now correct, so use the positions listed here going forward.
Best Soundtrack emoji
Head to Art Street, which sits to the left of the central square where the main shops are located. Find the white piano in the garden section of Art Street. The bubble circles the piano area, so just wait near it and pop it when it drifts close.
The reward here is a seagull holding a golden award statue, clearly inspired by Oscar night.
Week two emoji bubble locations
Week two sends you back to Amethyst Beach and out to the Deer Tower in the Forest. Both are reasonably quick to reach if you know the landmarks.
Dreaming of the Sand emoji
This bubble sits on the left-hand side of Amethyst Beach, south of Windmill Flower Field, right beside the movie theatre pop-up location. It's hard to miss once you're standing near the temporary cinema structure. The emoji itself is a bird shushing you, which is very on-brand for a cinema-themed event.
Forest Foraging emoji
Travel out to the Deer Tower in the Forest and look for Patti's location near the front fence. The bubble circles the fence line around the tower. The reward is a bird foraging greens, fitting given how much time you probably spend gathering resources in this area anyway.
Week three emoji bubble locations
Week three locations have not yet been confirmed by the developers. Once week three goes live for the exact riddle clues and any location changes.

The Dreamlight Cinematics event runs from March 21 through May 2, 2026 (UTC), giving you plenty of time to collect weeks one and two before week three drops.
