NBA Champions Basketball hands out free Coins through promo codes, and right now there's one active code worth grabbing before it disappears. Coins are the main currency for cosmetics in this Roblox basketball game, covering everything from emotes to visual effects. Codes don't last forever, so redeeming them the moment you see them is the right move.

How to redeem NBA Champions Basketball codes
Before you can redeem anything, there's one extra step that catches a lot of players off guard: you need to join the official NBA Champions Basketball Roblox group first. Without group membership, the redemption system won't work.
Step 1: Join the Roblox group
From the game's homepage on Roblox, scroll down to the developer tab. Find the NBA Champions Basketball button near the arrow, click it to open the community UI, then hit Join Community. That's it.
Step 2: Redeem your code in-game
- Launch NBA Champions Basketball and stay on the main menu.
- Press SHOP, then select the Codes button.
- Paste your code into the Enter Code text box.
- Hit REDEEM.

What should you spend your Coins on?
Coins from codes drop straight into your wallet and can be spent in two places: the Daily Shop and the Crates menu. The Daily Shop rotates its Coin-based inventory regularly, so check it often. Crates are permanent and give you a randomized pull from a fixed item pool.
Here's a breakdown of every Crate and its cost:
| Crate | Cost | Item Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Emote Crate #1 | 5000 Coins | Moon Walk, Dolphin Dance, Splits, Fireball |
| SFX Crate #1 | 3000 Coins | It's Over 9000, Anime Slash, Laser Zap, Fart |
| VFX Crate #1 | 6000 Coins | Galaxy Rift, Shadow Shards, Disco Celebration |
The SFX Crate #1 at 3000 Coins is the cheapest entry point if you just want to spend something quickly. The VFX Crate #1 has the flashiest rewards for on-court celebrations, and 7500 Coins from the RALLY code covers it entirely with change to spare.
All expired NBA Champions Basketball codes
