Assassin is the best all-round class in Solo Hunters, giving you +20% M1 damage, +20% magic damage, and +20% health. Keep it if you roll it. Tank and Mage have stronger individual bonuses, though, so an A-tier result can still suit your damage focus better than another gamble. This Roblox game has six classes, each with a different set of passive bonuses. Below, you can compare every class, decide whether your current roll is worth keeping, and follow the route to the Class Reroll NPC at the Docks.

How do the Solo Hunters classes rank?

Assassin takes S tier because it improves all three class-bonus categories by 20%. Tank, Mage, and Summoner occupy A tier, while Knight and Elf sit in B tier with weaker versions of bonuses available elsewhere.

TierClassPassive bonusesBest reason to keep it
SAssassin+20% M1 damage, +20% magic damage, +20% healthStrong bonuses across all three categories
ATank+40% health, +20% M1 damageHighest health bonus, with M1 damage support
AMage+40% magic damageHighest magic damage bonus
ASummoner+20% health, +20% magic damageMagic damage with extra health
BKnight+10% M1 damage, +10% magic damage, +10% healthBroad bonuses for early progression
BElf+25% magic damageAn early option for a magic-focused character

The A-tier classes are specialists: Tank has more health than Assassin, and Mage has more magic damage. Their narrower bonuses explain why Assassin remains the strongest general recommendation without making every A-tier roll a disappointment.

Should you keep your class or reroll?

Your current class should determine how much risk makes sense. Knight and Elf are the clearest reroll candidates, because Assassin and Mage respectively improve on their bonuses. Both B-tier classes can still serve you during the early game, so you can continue progressing while looking for a reroll opportunity.

Use these priorities to make the decision:

  • Keep Assassin for its combination of M1 damage, magic damage, and health.
  • Consider keeping Tank if health and M1 damage are your priorities.
  • Consider keeping Mage if you want the largest magic damage bonus.
  • Consider keeping Summoner if you value both magic damage and health.
  • Look to replace Knight or Elf when you have a chance to reroll.

A reroll produces a random class, so replacing an A-tier result carries a real downside. Mage already gives +40% magic damage, for example. Rolling Knight instead would leave you with only +10% magic damage, alongside its M1 damage and health bonuses.

Where is the Class Reroll NPC?

The Class Reroll NPC is at the Docks, at the bottom of the map. The route passes the Merchant and a basketball court before reaching the waterfront area.

Follow these landmarks in order:

  1. Head down past the Merchant.
  2. Continue until you pass through the basketball court.
  3. Keep going straight to reach the Docks.
  4. Look for brown storage containers.
  5. Find the large gray building to their left and locate the Class Reroll NPC there.

The gray building and brown containers are the final landmarks to look for once you reach the Docks. Start with the Merchant if you need a clear route through the map.

How do you reroll your class?

Interact with the Class Reroll NPC and enter a valid code to open your class menu. The yellow Reroll button is in the top-right corner. Use it to generate another random class result.

The process is straightforward:

  • Reach the NPC at the Docks.
  • Interact and enter a valid code.
  • Open the class menu.
  • Select the yellow Reroll button in the top-right corner.
  • Compare the new class with the tier list above before deciding what to do next.

Why is Assassin the S-tier choice?

Assassin has the strongest spread of passive bonuses: +20% M1 damage, +20% magic damage, and +20% health. You get support for both damage categories without giving up a health increase.

Knight is the closest comparison because it boosts the same three categories. Each Knight bonus is +10%, so Assassin adds 10 percentage points more in every category. That makes the upgrade particularly clear: the same coverage, with larger bonuses across the board.

Tank and Mage beat Assassin in their specialist categories, but neither matches its spread. Tank has +40% health and no magic damage bonus, while Mage concentrates its bonus entirely on magic damage. Assassin is the easiest recommendation when you want all three stats supported by your class.

Which A-tier class fits your priorities?

Is Tank worth keeping?

Tank gives +40% health and +20% M1 damage. Its M1 bonus matches Assassin, while its health bonus is 20 percentage points higher. If those are the two stats you care about most, Tank is a strong stopping point.

The trade-off is magic damage. Assassin adds +20% there, while Tank's bonuses focus on health and M1 damage. Choose between them based on that difference rather than treating the S-tier label as a win in every individual stat.

Is Mage the best magic-focused class?

Mage offers +40% magic damage, the largest magic bonus among the six classes. That is 20 percentage points above Assassin and Summoner, and 15 percentage points above Elf.

Mage has just one passive bonus, but it is a substantial one. Keep it if magic damage is your priority and you are comfortable choosing that increase over the health bonuses offered by Assassin or Summoner.

When does Summoner make sense?

Summoner combines +20% magic damage with +20% health. Those bonuses match Assassin in both categories, though Assassin also supplies +20% M1 damage.

Compared with Mage, Summoner gives up 20 percentage points of magic damage bonus in exchange for +20% health. That makes it a reasonable class to keep if you want both benefits rather than the largest possible magic damage increase.

If you are choosing classes in another game too, the Runaways class rankings and loadouts cover that game's options separately.

Are Knight and Elf worth keeping early on?

Knight offers coverage, but smaller bonuses

Knight gives +10% M1 damage, +10% magic damage, and +10% health. It supports all three categories, which makes it usable early on, but Assassin improves every one of those bonuses to +20%.

Treat Knight as a starting class rather than your reroll target. Its broad coverage is useful, but there is a direct upgrade that preserves the same bonus categories.

Elf has a stronger magic-focused replacement

Elf gives +25% magic damage. That is enough to help a magic-focused character early on, but Mage raises the same bonus to +40%.

If magic damage is your reason for keeping Elf, Mage is the clearest upgrade. Assassin is also worth keeping if it appears during a reroll, since it combines +20% magic damage with matching M1 damage and health bonuses.

What should you do next?

Check your class against the table before heading to the Docks. Keep Assassin, weigh an A-tier class against your preferred stats, and make Knight or Elf your main candidates for replacement. If an update changes these passive bonuses, reassess the rankings using the same three categories: M1 damage, magic damage, and health.
