Masters of Albion launched on Steam in Early Access to a mixed reception, but if you're the type who needs to see every achievement pop before putting a game down, there's plenty to keep you busy. With over 50 achievements spread across combat, construction, crafting, alignment, and exploration, a full completion run asks you to engage with nearly every system the game has. Here's everything you need to know to get through all of them.

What achievements are in Masters of Albion?

The full list covers a wide spread of activities. Below is every achievement confirmed in the current Early Access build, organized by category to make planning your run easier.

Combat achievements

These require you to get kills in specific ways, many of which tie directly into how you develop your god powers and hero equipment.

The Snack Attack achievement is one of the more creative ones. You need to craft a food-based weapon and land a kill with it. Plan this around your smithing progression so you're not wasting materials.

Dead & Buried requires 100 undead kills in a single night, which is a tall order. Stack your turrets and have your Lightning power leveled before attempting this.

God powers and magic achievements

Mastering your divine abilities to maximum level is the focus here.

To the Mana Born requires reaching Mana Level 10, the highest grind on this list. Prioritize Arcadium purchases throughout your run rather than saving them for late game so Knowledge is Power progresses naturally alongside it.

Building and construction achievements

Mega-Structure is the harder version of Urban Planner. You need to combine 5 different building types into one structure, so plan your layout with this in mind early. Retrofitting later is possible but costs more resources.

Crafting and equipment achievements

All four weapon-type achievements (Axe, Sword, Hammer, Mace) require crafting Lethal quality versions and equipping them. You can equip and swap between heroes, so you don't need four separate heroes at Lethal tier simultaneously. Craft each weapon type, equip it to any hero, and the achievement pops.

Exploration and collection achievements

Chests scattered around the map are also a useful emergency resource. As noted in Steam community discussions, opening chests with your hero earns quick gold when you're short on funds, which matters for the soft lock situations covered below.

Hero and worker achievements

Through Their Eyes accumulates across your entire playthrough, so possession time adds up passively. You Tosser! and Tossed Aside are effectively one grind split across two achievements.

Food, trade, and economy achievements

Master of Bling requires accumulating 1 million gold. This is a long-term goal that happens naturally if you're consistently fulfilling food and weapon orders throughout your run.

These two are mutually exclusive in a single run. You'll need two separate playthroughs to earn both, or reload a save at a point before your alignment locked in.

How do you avoid soft locks in Masters of Albion?

This is the most common issue hitting players in Early Access, and it's worth knowing before it happens to you.

The main soft lock scenario reported across Steam discussions involves running out of wheat during the early tutorial. The game pauses time during certain quests and blocks the skip-to-night function, which means if your farm has no wheat left to produce food, you can't progress the quest, and you can't advance the day cycle to let the farm recover.

A second soft lock involves ore: if a quest requires a delivery and your mine has been completely exhausted, you're stuck waiting several in-game hours for ore to respawn naturally.

Here's how to avoid both:

  • Overproduce food early. Keep more wheat stockpiled than you think you need. The tutorial's early days don't cycle to night naturally (night doesn't occur naturally in the first 8 days, according to community reports), so you can't rely on the day cycle to bail you out.
  • Don't exhaust your mine before completing ore delivery quests. Check quest requirements before mining everything out.
  • Sell decorative building parts for emergency gold. As noted in Steam community discussions, you can dismantle houses and sell fashionable parts that don't affect their core function, which frees up gold without destroying the building's utility.
  • Open chests early. Chests around the map give quick gold and count toward the Treasure Hunter and Dungeon Delver achievements simultaneously.
  • Don't place building tabs before quests require them. Placing the Heroes Guild tab before the quest triggers it, for example, can prevent that quest from registering and block further progress.
