Mirrors in Mina the Hollower are one of the game's most quietly important mechanics. They look decorative at first, and you can even make faces at your own reflection. But each mirror scattered across Tenebrous Isle is actually a portal to a hidden world called Mirror's End inside the Astral Orrery. Finding and activating them isn't optional either, you need at least three to progress through a key story area.
How do mirrors work in Mina the Hollower?
Every mirror on Tenebrous Isle connects to a corresponding room in Mirror's End, a sub-area within the Astral Orrery. Each mirror is color-coded to its region. When you activate the gold mechanism inside a mirror room, it unlocks that color's path in Mirror's End. At the center of Mirror's End, a blocked northern path leads to a spark generator and you need at least three activated mirrors to clear it.
There are 7 mirrors total in the game, but only 6 are enterable. The seventh, found in a house in Ossex, functions exclusively as an exit and cannot be entered through normal play.

Mirror's End blocked path
Each mirror corresponds to a region and a color:
What's the fastest way to unlock the spark generator?
You need exactly 3 activated mirrors to open the northern path in Mirror's End. There are 7 valid three-mirror combinations that work:
- Coltrane Peak + Nox's Bayou + Septemburg
- Bone Beach + Nox's Bayou + Septemburg
- Septemburg + Queensbury Crypt + Coltrane Peak
- Coltrane Peak + Bone Beach + Nox's Bayou
- Nox's Bayou + Septemburg + Queensbury Crypt
- Queensbury Crypt + Coltrane Peak + Bone Beach
- Nox's Bayou + Coltrane Peak + Bone Beach
If you want the path cleared as early as possible, aim for Combination 1 (Coltrane Peak, Nox's Bayou, Septemburg) since those regions tend to come up naturally as you progress through the mid-game.
How to enter a mirror in Mina the Hollower
This trips up a lot of players early on. You don't press an interact button. Instead, hold the movement direction into the mirror repeatedly until Mina phases through it. Once inside the Astral Orrery, find the gold mechanism in the room and activate it. That's what actually registers the mirror as unlocked and lets you travel back through any previously visited mirror.
Simply entering a mirror room isn't enough. If you leave without hitting the gold mechanism, the room won't count as activated and the path in Mirror's End won't unlock.

Radiant Manor mirror location
All 6 mirror locations in Mina the Hollower
Radiant Manor — Grand Hall
This is the first mirror you'll encounter and it's nearly impossible to miss. It sits right at the entrance of the building, so just keep moving through the opening area and you'll walk straight into it.
Queensbury Crypt — Statue Head Hall
Head to Statue Head Hall, the room where you need to collect two statue heads and place them back on their respective statues. Look for a wall-mounted candle in the same room. Burrow into it to access a secret passage that leads directly to the mirror.
Bone Beach — Worm's Back
Fight through the giant worm until you emerge outside into the area called Worm's Back. You'll spot a brown tent shortly after. Burrow into the tent opening to find the mirror inside.
Coltrane Peak — Icebound Cavern
You need to defeat the Frozen Horror first, the yellow monster encased in ice found in the Icebound Cavern. After the fight, take the north exit into the next room, then burrow right into a hidden tunnel. The mirror is at the end of it.
Nox's Bayou — Moonlit Path
This one requires a bit of setup. Go to Big Lagoon and complete the terrain transformation that floods the area with water. Once that's done, navigate to the southwest corner of Big Lagoon and burrow through the hole there to reach the Moonlit Path. Work your way to the very top of Moonlit Path, defeat the Mock Moon, then enter the northern room to find the mirror.
Septemburg — Farm House (Crow Town)
Enter Crow Town and cross the bridge lined with lightning rods. You're looking for a small cluster of houses. The target is the house in the bottom-left corner of town, identifiable by the woman standing outside and a red chest visible on the balcony. The door is locked, but approach it and a crow will burst out. Head inside and climb to the second floor to reach the mirror.
Why finding all mirrors matters
Beyond the story requirement, having all 6 mirrors activated turns Mirror's End into a fast-travel network. Each mirror room connects back to its source location on Tenebrous Isle, so once you've built the full network you can cut across the map in seconds rather than backtracking through entire regions. For a game built around adventure games exploration, that kind of traversal shortcut becomes genuinely useful in the late game.
