What are the top-priority daily tasks in NTE?
Based on community testing documented by both Game8 and GameWith, two tasks sit above everything else: spending Character Pixels and completing Daily Quests. Both are rated five stars for priority, and the good news is they feed into each other naturally.

Spend Character Pixels first
Character Pixels recover at a rate of 1 every 6 minutes, which works out to 240 per 24 hours. Spending them on Anomaly Zone dungeons is the core loop. Higher difficulty levels yield better rewards, so always push the hardest tier you can clear. According to Game8, you can track available dungeon locations directly through the Exploration Guide by selecting "Go" on any challenge entry.
Once you burn through your Pixels, your Activity Level will likely hit 100 on its own, unlocking all Daily Quest rewards without extra effort.
Daily Quests unlock after completing Prologue - Part 2. If you have not reached that point yet, push the main story before worrying about the daily loop.
Complete Daily Quests for 1,000 EXP
The four Daily Quests award a combined 1,000 EXP when all are finished. According to Game8, the tasks are:
- Daily Login (200 EXP)
- Earn 10,000 Fons (200 EXP)
- Consume Character Pixels (300 EXP)
- Get 100 Daily Activity Points (300 EXP)
All four reset at 5:00 AM UTC+8 every day. Hit them before that window closes.

Daily tasks worth doing every session
Visit Nacupeda's Pool
Once per day, head to Nacupeda's Pool and make a choice. Selecting "Make a Sincere Wish" rewards you with a Mhm! Coin, which can be exchanged toward an exclusive S-Rank Arc. The alternative option drops furniture and miscellaneous items. If you are building toward that Arc, always take the Sincere Wish.
Get a fortune at The Witch's House
The Witch's House offers one fortune per day. The three possible outcomes are:
None of these cost anything, so there is no reason to skip it.
Collect cafe profits and restock ingredients
The Cafe by Origen passively accumulates Fons while you are offline. Withdraw earnings each session and restock ingredients before they run out. An empty cafe generates nothing, so restocking takes priority over just collecting.
Farm Fons with Chiz
Holding Chiz's Basic Attack farms Fons from enemies up to a daily cap. GameWith notes that if you are still below the cap after farming normally, you can spend Fons to farm the remainder. It is a quick loop worth running before you log off.
Give gifts to characters
You can give gifts up to 10 times per day, with a maximum of 3 gifts per character. If you are working on raising Affection with a specific character, this is a capped resource that does not carry over, so use it.
Bust illegal activities
Defeating enemies engaged in illegal activities drops Goodheart Crispy Mouse Cookies. These trade in at Security Offices for items including Annulith. It takes a few minutes and the Annulith is worth the detour.
Skipping the cafe restock and the Fons farming cap on back-to-back days compounds fast. A few missed sessions means meaningfully less progression currency over a week.
What should you do every week in NTE?
Anomaly Pilgrimage weekly entry
Clear Anomaly Pilgrimage (highest priority)
Anomaliy Pilgrimage rewards materials for upgrading Esper Abilities. You can claim rewards up to 3 times per week by spending Character Pixels. Since attempts are limited, check which enhancement materials your characters actually need before spending.
Spend City Stamina in Hethereau Hobbies
City Stamina fully resets every Monday at 5:00 AM UTC+8. Unspent stamina is wasted stamina. According to GameWith, every Hethereau Hobbies minigame awards 1,000 Fons per 1 City Stamina spent, so the specific minigame does not matter for rewards. Play whatever you enjoy. Performing well in minigames lets you spend more stamina per session, which saves time.
As you level up City Tycoon, your total Stamina reserves increase and new Hobbies become available. Investing in City Tycoon progression pays off in weekly Fons output.
Check Ebisu's Auction
The auction inventory refreshes weekly. Some items are exclusive to the Auction and cannot be obtained elsewhere. This unlocks after clearing Chapter 3 of the main story, so prioritize reaching that point if you want early access.
Clear the Realm of Greed
Access this special Anomaly Zone through the Mammon in your home. Fons rewards scale with the level you clear, so push the highest tier you can manage each week.
Complete Special Commissions
Accept Special Commissions from the Old Mailbox in your home. Rewards are Fons-based and scale with level, but you can only claim them once per week. Level up your Old Mailbox before accepting so you lock in the highest possible payout.
Monthly and version-based tasks
Exchange items in the Mall (monthly)
The Lost Exchange in the Mall refreshes on the 1st of every month. Priority items include gacha dice and Tri-Keys used to exchange for Arcs. If you have accumulated Lost Pieces, trade them in before the reset.
Clear Special Routes in Beyond the Rails
Special Route rewards rotate with every game version update. Clearing them earns Annuliths and training materials. Once your characters are trained up, tackle these before the next patch drops.
How do you check your Exploration Guide objectives?
Open the Exploration Guide from your smartphone in-game or press F1 on PC. Objectives here are mostly city-based tasks tied to discovering POIs and completing various activities. Completing all objectives in a phase triggers a red exclamation point on the tab. Rewards include EXP, Annulith, Elite Hunter Guides, Beetle Coins, Fons, Chaotic Dyes, and Music Boxes.
The Participation Tasks section sits under the main objectives and covers actions ranging from daily login to setting up City Tycoon businesses. These also drop Annulith, Beetle Coins, and Fons.
Also check your in-game mail inbox daily. Event participation rewards and promotional freebies land here and expire if unclaimed.
