For a game that already asks a full asking price at launch, paying extra just to change your hairstyle has been a persistent frustration in the community.
That pricing structure disappears entirely once the new system is live.
The transition timeline and what to do with vouchers you already own
Here's the lowdown on how this plays out in practice. Starting December 3, Character Editing Vouchers will no longer be sold. Any vouchers players already have in their inventory remain usable until the full system update arrives with Ascendance in 2027, so nothing gets wiped immediately.
Players who previously purchased vouchers with real money are getting a small acknowledgment too. A Special Thank-You Pendant Set, which includes the Heavenly Hog and Beelzeboar pendants, will be available to claim in-game from December 3 onward for anyone who spent money on the old system.
