The Sims 4 Enchanted by Nature Features ...

Grinding fairy XP to reach the Radiant rank in The Sims 4 Enchanted by Nature takes time most players would rather spend actually playing. The good news: the expansion has a solid set of cheat codes covering everything from the new Naturopath career to exclusive occult traits that only fairy sims can equip.

The Sims 4 players who want to skip the legwork and jump straight into the fae fantasy have options. Here's the full breakdown.

Getting cheats running before anything else

Before any of these codes work, you need to open the cheat console with Ctrl + Shift + C on PC (or the equivalent on console), then type testingcheats true and hit Enter. That single step unlocks everything below. Skip it and nothing will stick.

important
Some trait and skill cheats will silently fail without testingcheats active. Always enable it first.

The Naturopath career codes

Enchanted by Nature adds one new career: the Naturopath, which branches into either Lifestyle Coach or Apothe-curist at higher levels. The career cheats follow the same pattern as every other Sims 4 career.

Repeat careers.promote Naturopath to climb ranks fast without waiting for work days.

Apothecary and Natural Living skill cheats

Two new skills arrived with the expansion. Apothecary (capped at level 10) teaches sims to craft cures for ailments. Natural Living focuses on outdoor survival and thriving in nature. Both use the standard skill cheat format.

Swap the number at the end for any value between 1 and 10 to set a specific skill level instead of maxing it immediately.

Trait cheats, including fairy-exclusive ones

Enchanted by Nature adds three standard personality traits and a set of reward traits. A handful of those reward traits are locked to fairy occult sims only. The table below marks those clearly.

Fairy XP ranks and how to cheat them

There's no single cheat to set a fairy's rank directly. Instead, you set the underlying Fairy XP value and the rank updates automatically. Five ranks exist, each unlocking new manipulation magic and perks.

To hit Radiant immediately, set the XP value to 4500. The key here is that the rank gates unlock in sequence, so you can also set intermediate values to test specific rank perks without committing to max level.

Turning a regular sim into a fairy (no cheat exists, but there's a workaround)

Unlike vampires or spellcasters, there's no console command to convert a regular sim into a fairy. The workaround goes through Create-a-Sim: enable testingcheats true, then enter cas.fulleditmode, click your sim, select "Edit in CAS," and set the occult type to Fairy in the top-left corner of the menu. It takes about 30 seconds and works on any existing sim.

The two new death types (and the one with a cheat)

Enchanted by Nature introduces Death by Emotional Starvation and Death by Emotional Overload for fairy sims. Only Emotional Starvation has a direct cheat code.

  • Equip ghost state: traits.equip_trait trait_ghost_EmotionalStarvation
  • Remove ghost state: traits.remove_trait trait_ghost_EmotionalStarvation

Emotional Overload works differently. Fairy sims can use Detect Emotion on other sims to find overload emotions (marked with an exclamation point), then repeatedly use Absorb Emotion until the sim hits Enraged, Hysterical, or Mortified. That triggers the standard death-by-emotion chain. It's a new path to three existing death types, not a completely new mechanic.

tip
If you want to experiment with fairy death states without losing a sim permanently, keep a backup save before testing Emotional Overload chains.

For players who want to push further into the game's systems, the full The Sims 4 guides collection covers careers, skills, and expansion-specific mechanics across the whole game.
