Bellanoir Libero, Knocklem Ignis, and Knocklem are the best attack Pals in Palworld for direct damage. Neptilius, Jormuntide Ignis, and Moldron are strong alternatives when their element or party bonuses suit the fight.
These picks focus on endgame combat in Palworld 1.0. Your next decision is who should deal the damage: you or your active Pal. Orserk and Celesdir Noct strengthen your fighter, while Solenne and elemental mounts support a weapon-led setup. Separate those roles before filling all five party slots.
Best attack Pals at a glance
The table compares six damage-focused picks using their level-80 Attack ranges. These are stat comparisons, not damage-per-second rankings, so check the Partner Skill conditions before committing to a Pal.
| Pal | Element | Attack at Lv. 80 | Recommended role |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bellanoir Libero | Dark | 1000–1270 | Targeted burst damage |
| Knocklem Ignis | Fire | 790–997 | Temporary offensive and defensive power |
| Knocklem | Ground | 760–958 | Ground attacker with a powerful activation window |
| Neptilius | Water | 970–1231 | Follow-up damage alongside player attacks |
| Jormuntide Ignis | Dragon / Fire | 880–1114 | Attacker and damage amplifier for Burn teams |
| Moldron | Fire / Ground | 850–1075 | Attacker for Fire- or Ground-heavy parties |
A high Attack value does not make every Pal interchangeable. The strongest Palworld combat Pals still need a role in your party, especially when their bonus depends on Burn, matching teammates, or an activated skill.
Which damage dealer should you choose?
Choose Moldron when your teammates naturally meet its elemental condition.
Bellanoir Libero for targeted burst
Bellanoir Libero is the first recommendation when you want a dedicated damage dealer without filling the rest of your party with matching elements. Its Partner Skill, Nightmare Stare, commands an attack against the targeted enemy with Nightmare Bloom. That move receives a 1.1×–2.5× damage multiplier.
Libero also has access to the exclusive Flame Waltz skill, which standard Bellanoir lacks. Choose Libero when you want to build around its offensive kit, then use your remaining slots to strengthen it or shorten the wait between Partner Skill activations.
Knocklem Ignis and Knocklem for powerful attack windows
The two Knocklem variants trade constant output for a substantial temporary boost:
- Knocklem Ignis: Iron Guardian Mode increases its Attack and Defense by 60–210% for a limited time.
- Knocklem: Steel Guardian Mode increases its Attack and Defense by 50–200% for a limited time.
Choose Ignis when Fire damage fits the encounter, or Knocklem when you need Ground damage against Electric enemies. Their defensive bonuses also help them withstand pressure while their offensive boosts are running.
Keeping both gives you the option to alternate their Partner Skills during longer fights. This is a stronger reason to carry the pair than simply comparing their unbuffed Attack values.
Neptilius for Water follow-up damage
Neptilius is a strong Water choice when you want your own attacks to trigger additional Pal damage. Sentinel of the Great Sea makes it follow up player attacks with Water spear strikes while it is in your party.
Use it against Fire targets or in a setup where you expect to attack frequently yourself. Its follow-up mechanic gives it a different job from the Knocklem variants: your player attacks drive the interaction instead of a temporary self-buff defining the damage window.
Jormuntide Ignis and Moldron for specialized parties
Jormuntide Ignis rewards a team that can reliably apply Burn. While it is in the party, Stormbringer Lava Dragon increases player and Pal damage against burning enemies by 50–65%. The condition is the enemy's status, so the benefit is not limited to Jormuntide Ignis's own attacks.
Renjishi is a useful partner because it lets player attacks build Burn. For group clearing, Majex adds damaging flames around burning enemies, while Flaracle makes attacks against them cause explosions that damage nearby targets.
Moldron instead scales with your roster. Magma Overload increases its Attack by 4–8% for each other Fire or Ground Pal in the party. Four qualifying teammates provide 16–32% extra Attack, making it a sensible investment if you already want a party built around those elements.
Choose Jormuntide Ignis when you can maintain the required status.
Which support Pals increase damage?
A support slot should strengthen the damage source you actually use. Raising player Attack does not serve the same purpose as raising your active Pal's Attack, and a cooldown reduction is most valuable when your party has a strong activated Partner Skill.
Orserk and Celesdir Noct for your active Pal
Orserk is one of the best Palworld Electric Pals for teams that keep landing bullets. Ferocious Thunder Dragon increases the active Pal's Attack and Defense by 1–5% per bullet hit for five seconds, stacking up to 30 times.
At the upper value, a full stack provides up to 150% increased Attack and Defense. Keep shooting to build the bonus while your selected attacker fights beside you.
Celesdir Noct offers a different trade-off. Blessing of Chaos increases the active Pal's Attack by 40–80%, but gradually drains that Pal's Health. Watch its health bar and recall it before the drain becomes dangerous.
Neither of these Partner Skill effects stacks with duplicate copies. Use those extra slots for a different benefit instead.

Build buffs with bullet hits
Solenne and Lapure for different damage plans
Solenne is the player-damage choice. Untainted Maiden increases your Attack by 30–80% while it is in the party, provided every party Pal is a different species. Check the whole roster before relying on that bonus.
Lapure reduces the Partner Skill cooldowns of your other party Pals. Consider it when you are building around repeated Nightmare Stare or Guardian Mode activations, where getting another activation is more useful than adding an unrelated attacker.
Use Solenne when your weapon is doing the work. Use Lapure when the party's strongest contribution comes from an activated Partner Skill.
Best mounts for player damage
Frostallion for Ice and Frostallion Noct for Dark
Frostallion changes your attacks to Ice while mounted, increases your Attack, and helps build Freeze. It is a strong choice against Dragon targets when you want your weapon to exploit their elemental weakness.
Frostallion Noct fills the corresponding Dark role. While mounted, it converts your attacks to Dark, increases your Attack, and helps build Blind. Choose it against Neutral enemies or as the mount for a Dark-focused party.
Moldron Cryst is a useful support for the Ice route. Ice Overload increases player and Pal Ice damage to enemy weak points by 25–40% while it is in the party. This bonus requires both Ice damage and a weak-point hit, and duplicate copies do not stack.

Turn ranged attacks into Ice
A complete attack party against Electric enemies
Use this Ground-focused party when you want Knocklem to lead the fight:
Knocklem, Moldron, Bulldosu, Surfent Terra, and Pierdon.
Knocklem is your main attacker, with Moldron available as another offensive option. The other three slots connect your attacks, the enemy's status, and the party's defenses:
| Support Pal | Contribution |
|---|---|
| Surfent Terra | Lets player attacks build Muddy, which reduces the target's Electric damage |
| Pierdon | Increases player and Pal damage against Muddy enemies |
| Bulldosu | Reduces Electric damage taken by the party and grants immunity to Electrify |
Start by attacking to build Muddy. Once the damage condition is established, activate Knocklem's Partner Skill and continue pressuring the target during its boosted window.
This party has a clear reason for every slot: an attacker, another compatible damage dealer, a status enabler, a damage amplifier, and protection against the enemy's element. Use that structure when adapting your roster to another encounter.
How to strengthen your chosen damage setup
Match your weapon and accessories to the party
Among the best weapons in Palworld, the Plasma Rifle suits steady pressure on boss weak points, while the Drone Launcher keeps drones attacking as you fight. The Mechanical Bow can deliver strong weak-point damage, but demands more accuracy and can suffer from inconsistent boss hitboxes.
For a Pal-led party, match accessories to its main element. Support Whistles provide an accessible elemental damage increase, while stronger Batons, Rings, and Talismans can improve the active Pal's Attack, elemental damage, or defenses.
For a player-led setup, the Attack Pendant raises your Attack. The Dogen Emblem boosts both your Attack and your active Pal's Attack, making it relevant when both of you contribute damage.
Collect permanent elemental bonuses
Defeating an Alpha boss for the first time awards its corresponding Pal Bounty Token. These tokens appear under Key Items and permanently increase a particular elemental damage type for Pals in your active party.
Check whether each token is marked Small, Medium, or Large. A Legendary Alpha does not guarantee the largest bonus, so include other Alpha bosses when improving your chosen party's element.
