Step 3: Board the Phantom Express
With the Ticket in hand, head to the Phantom Express station. The train runs on a fixed schedule, arriving approximately every 30 minutes at the hour and half-hour marks. Equip the Ticket and board when the train pulls in. It takes you directly to the Forgotten Town.
Step 4: Find the whirlpool
Once you arrive at the Forgotten Town, head left until you reach a green pond. A large whirlpool forms in the water. Walk into it and you'll be pulled through a portal into a hidden area where a fisherman NPC named Gus is waiting.

Step 5: Cast until you find the key
Equip your fishing rod and cast into the water around Gus. The Manor Key is a catchable item in this pool, but it's not guaranteed on the first cast. Keep going. Once you have the Manor Key, look for the large sewer pipe in the secret area. Entering it sends you directly to the front of the Abandoned Manor back in the Corrupted Realm. Walk up to the door and press E to unlock it.
The door stays unlocked for the rest of the Halloween event. You won't need to fish for the key again or repeat any part of this chain on future visits.
What's inside the Abandoned Manor?
Head upstairs to the first floor and you'll find a room with four pedestals. That's the Divine Fuse machine, and it's the whole reason this questline matters.
To use it, you and a partner each need to place one Voidseer Pumpkin and one Ghost Fish pet into the machine. Both players then receive the Divine Cursed Monarch Egg. Take that egg back to the main game area, place it on your base, and the Divine Cursed Monarch pet hatches out.
