Silent Hill: Townfall hides 7 locked Resource Containers across Simon's sections of the game, and none of them open without the matching key. Miss even one and the related achievement stays locked. The good news is that every key and container can be collected in a single playthrough if you know where to look. This guide walks you through all 7 locations in story order so nothing slips past you.
Resource Containers are optional locked caches scattered through the game world. Each one holds useful consumables and ammunition that can give Simon a meaningful edge in later chapters. There are exactly 7 containers and 7 corresponding keys, and the keys are never far from their containers, though they are rarely in the same room. Simply stumbling across a container without its key does nothing, so tracking down both halves of each pair is the goal.
For the achievement, you need to actually open all 7 containers, not just find them. Walking past an unlocked container counts for nothing.

Silent Hill: Townfall Guide: All Resource Container Locations
The first key is in the Coastal District - South. Head into Jess's house and go straight to the kitchen. Open the drawers to find Resource Container Key #1.
With the key in hand, move to the apartment building south of the structure labeled number 14 on the map. Find Apartment 0/1 and step into the living room. The blue Resource Container is there waiting. Use the key to open it.
In Coastal District - North, enter the apartment building located south of the medical centre. Work through the building until you hit the scaffolding, then use it to reach the second section. On the second floor, enter Apartment 1/1. One of the rooms has an enemy, so clear it before searching. Resource Container Key #2 is on the bed.
Stay in the same building and head up to the fourth floor. The second Resource Container sits on a table on the landing. The key from Apartment 1/1 opens it.
Inside the Other Medical Centre, reach Ward W and enter Room 11. Check the key cabinet for Resource Container Key #3.
Head over to Ward S and enter Room 01, which should be accessible by this point. The third Resource Container is on the floor. The key from Room 11 unlocks it.
This is the busiest chapter for collectibles. Two keys and two containers are spread across the optional buildings around Clara's Wood Estate. Explore thoroughly before advancing the story or you risk locking yourself out.
Go to Atlas Way on the lower level of Clara's Wood Estate and enter the post office building, which also contains a telephone. Check the cash register near the front of the room for Resource Container Key #4.
From there, find the apartment building northeast of Atlas Square. Stay on the ground floor and walk to the kitchen at the far end. The Resource Container is on the countertop. The post office key opens it.
Return to the post office and find the alley behind it. Follow the alley to the laundrette at the end. Step inside and look left. Resource Container Key #5 is sitting on top of one of the washing machines.
The fifth container is in the building that holds the CEG employee locker room. Find the back office inside and you will see the Resource Container on a desk. The laundrette key opens it.
The final two containers are inside the altered SWDP area. One of them requires using the control panel to unlock a specific door, so do not skip that step.
On the main floor of SWDP, climb the stairs in the southern part of the area. At the top, enter the room to the west. Resource Container Key #6 is on a counter inside.
Move to the control room. The sixth Resource Container is to the right of the control panel. Use the key you just picked up to open it.
Go down to the lower floor of SWDP and find the room in the northwestern corner. The seventh and final key is on a counter inside.
Before you can open the last container, use the control panel to unlock Door 621. Once that door is open, enter the long room containing the valves in the eastern section of the area. The final Resource Container is on a table inside. Opening it with the seventh key completes the requirement for the achievement.
