Silent Hill: Townfall hides 15 Strange Postcards across its Parts, and they are genuinely harder to track down than any other collectible in the game. You can only pick them up while playing as Simon, none appear in Part 5, and missing even one means either backtracking or starting a new run. Grab all 15 and the Blur Your Eyes Trophy/Achievement unlocks. The good news: postcard progress carries over between playthroughs, so you never have to collect the same card twice.
A few rules apply specifically to Strange Postcards that do not apply to other collectibles in the game.
Check the Documents menu at any point to see your running total. Once all 15 register, the trophy pops.

Silent Hill: Townfall Guide: All Strange Postcard Locations
Every postcard is listed below in story order so you can collect them naturally without backtracking.
| # | Location | How to find it |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Video store, Coastal District South | From the town square, follow the road west to its end. Enter VIDEO STAR, the store just left of Zoe's House. The postcard sits on the counter. |
| 2 | St. Amelia Park | Enter through the southern entrance and turn left immediately. Head into the alley behind the building marked as location 3. The postcard is on the ground next to a dumpster. |
| 3 | Farrow Street | From the phone box on Farrow Street, head left until the wall blocks your path. The postcard is attached to the wall at the dead end. |
| 4 | Building 16 | Cross to Building 16, opposite Jess's house. Go upstairs and look in the child's bedroom. |
| 5 | St. Amelia Shorefront District North | After Zoe enters the Medical Center and Simon returns there, head to Shorefront District North. Take the right-hand path instead of the gates and follow it to a staircase. |
| 6 | Otherworld gardens | After leaving the commercial road building in the Otherworld, go through the gardens on the right. The postcard is inside a shed. |
| 7 | Elevator shaft room | After completing "The Patient," go into the room to the right of the elevator shaft. Enter 7103 on the keypad to unlock the door. The postcard is on the counter at the back. |
| 8 | Medical Center (Different), W Ward Room 06 | Head downstairs to W Ward and enter Room 06. You need the W Master Key from W05 to get in. |
| 9 | Medical Center (Different), P Area Room 08 | Go to the lower level of the P Area. Room 08 opens after you turn both upstairs valves and collect the MC and GM blood bags. Check the medical cabinet on the wall. Grab this before leaving D.P. Ward. |
| 10 | Garden shed, corpse road | On the road lined with corpses, take the right fork instead of the story route left. At the end, turn right again, open the garden gate, and search the shed. |
| 11 | Clara Woods, building opposite phone booth | Enter the building across from the phone booth and climb upstairs. |
| 12 | Clara Woods, opposite Atlas Computers | Locate the storefront opposite Atlas Computers. Break the display window to the right of the door. The postcard is on a table beside a lamp. |
| 13 | North Braes overpass | After getting the bolt cutters from Locker 17, head upstairs to North Braes. Turn left and follow the route toward the overpass leading to Upper Braes. The postcard is on the ground beside a metal cart at the dead end. |
| 14 | 5 Upper Brae, shed | Play the Tomorrow cassette inside the house at 5 Upper Brae. Go back downstairs and use the Back Door Key to exit. Follow the alley to a shed, crouch to enter, and pick up the postcard from the table. |
| 15 | Sewers / Altered CEG Headquarters | During the "Escape" objective, enter the ventilation passage after climbing the short staircase. At the first junction turn right, then at the next four-way intersection turn left. The postcard is at the dead end. |
Part 1 gives you the most geographic freedom early on, and all four postcards here are reachable without any special keys or story triggers beyond opening St. Amelia Park. Postcard #1 in the VIDEO STAR store is the easiest to spot since the store sits at the western end of the island right next to Zoe's House. Postcard #3 on Farrow Street is easy to walk past because it blends into the wall texture rather than sitting on a surface.

Postcard #5 is missable if you rush straight through the Medical Center gates. Take the right-hand path in Shorefront District North before proceeding and the staircase becomes obvious. Postcard #7 behind the elevator shaft is locked behind the keypad code 7103, which you need to have on hand before the door will open.
This is where the most players lose a postcard permanently. Postcard #8 in W Ward Room 06 requires the W Master Key from Room W05, so grab that key first. Postcard #9 in P Area Room 08 only opens after you have turned both upstairs valves and collected the MC and GM blood bags. The medical cabinet on the wall holds the card. Leave D.P. Ward without it and the area closes behind you.

Part 4 has the highest concentration of postcards, and Clara Woods alone holds three of them. Postcard #10 requires deliberately ignoring the story route and taking the right fork on the corpse-lined road. Postcard #12 opposite Atlas Computers requires breaking the display window rather than finding a door, which is easy to miss if you are not actively looking for alternate entry points. Postcard #14 at 5 Upper Brae involves a multi-step sequence: play the Tomorrow cassette, exit through the back door with the key, then crouch into the shed.
Postcard #15 sits inside the altered CEG Headquarters during the Escape sequence. The ventilation passage branches repeatedly, and taking the wrong turn at either junction sends you past it. After the short staircase, enter the ventilation pipe, turn right at junction one, then left at the four-way intersection. The postcard is at the dead end.
Yes. Unlike most collectibles in the game, Strange Postcard progress persists between runs. Cards you already found remain logged in the Documents menu when you begin again. There is no penalty for spreading collection across two playthroughs, though grabbing everything in one run is possible if you follow the list above from the start.
For players who enjoy the genre, puzzle games reward exactly this kind of methodical exploration, and Silent Hill: Townfall leans heavily into that design philosophy across its environmental puzzles and collectible hunts.
