Kina is the engine behind every power spike in Aion 2. Gear upgrades, Manastone slots, crafting fees, Market purchases — all of it drains your wallet faster than you expect once you hit endgame. The good news is that the game gives you a lot of ways to earn it back, and knowing which methods to prioritize at each stage makes the difference between always having enough and grinding for repairs money.
Before getting into the farms, you need to understand that Aion 2 has two distinct versions of the same currency: Kina and Kina (Bound). They look nearly identical when you receive them, but they behave very differently.
Regular Kina is the flexible version. You can use it on the player Market, transfer it through shared storage, and spend it on anything in the game. Kina (Bound) is locked to your character and covers eligible progression costs like enhancement fees and NPC purchases, but it cannot touch the player economy.
The game always spends Bound first when both types are accepted, so you never accidentally burn unbound currency on something trivial. Still, when you are comparing two farming methods, the one that generates regular Kina is almost always more valuable than one that generates the same amount in Bound form.
| Currency | Player Market Access | Best Used For |
|---|---|---|
| Kina | Yes | Trading, Market purchases, storage transfers |
| Kina (Bound) | No | Enhancement fees, NPC costs, eligible progression |

Aion 2 Guide: Best Ways to Earn Kina Fast
No single method stays best throughout the entire game. Campaign quests carry you through leveling, repeatable dungeons take over at the midgame, and efficient Conquest cubes plus Market selling dominate at endgame. The rule that holds at every stage: clear your limited guaranteed sources first, then use open-world farming to fill the gaps.
| Method | Best Stage | Reliability | Main Limit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Campaign and side quests | Leveling | High (one-time) | Finite content |
| Duty quests | All stages | High | Daily rotation |
| Daily Dungeon (Crobakhi's Secret Depository) | Level 30+ | High | Weekly attempt pool |
| Expedition Conquest | Endgame | High | Odyle Energy cost |
| Transcendence | Endgame | High | Odyle Energy + gear requirement |
| Ascension Trial | Endgame | High | Weekly limit |
| Abyss farming | Endgame | Medium-High | PvP risk |
| Boss farming | Endgame | Low (RNG) | Drop rate variance |
| Gathering and crafting | Any stage | Variable | Market demand |
| Market flipping | Midgame+ | Variable | Membership required |
Expeditions and Conquest dungeons are the backbone of consistent Kina income because their rewards are tied to Odyle Energy, a resource you are always generating. Odyle regenerates at 15 Energy every 3 hours, which works out to 120 per day and 840 per week with an active subscription. Free players restore 10 every 3 hours instead.
After clearing a dungeon's final boss, you spend Odyle Energy to open an Odyle Energy Cube for bonus rewards, which can include direct Kina, gear, and upgrade materials. The cube is where most of the real value lives, so never skip it.
Dungeon tiers matter. At around 1,400 Gear Score, Urugugu Canyon and Vakron Sky Island become available as T2 options. Urugugu is the stronger pick for weapons and accessories, while Vakron targets armor. Once your main reaches roughly 2,100 GS, Fire Temple and Horn Den open as T3 content with higher payouts.
| Dungeon | Tier | Gear Score | Guaranteed Kina | Odyle Cost |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Krao Cave Conquest | T1 | Early endgame | 70,000 | 40 |
| Urugugu Canyon Conquest | T2 | 1,400 | 100,000 | 40 |
| Vakron Sky Island Conquest | T2 | 1,400 | 100,000 | 40 |
| Fire Temple | T3 | 2,100 | Higher payout | 40 |
With 840 weekly Odyle, you can run 21 cubes. At Urugugu and Vakron rates, that translates to roughly 2.1 million Kina from guaranteed drops alone, before counting any sellable gear or materials that come out of those same cubes.

Aion 2 Guide: Best Ways to Earn Kina Fast
Yes, but only once they can actually clear worthwhile content. Each character has its own Odyle Energy pool, its own field Kina cap, and its own eligible dungeon claims. A parked level-20 alt produces nothing useful.
The practical target is getting alts to around 1,400 to 1,500 GS so they can run T2 Conquest. Your main pushes into T3 content while the alts each clear Urugugu and Vakron weekly. With four alts at that threshold, the combined weekly Odyle across five characters reaches 4,200 Energy before any crafted or purchased top-ups.
One useful shortcut: gear can be moved through shared storage, so your main's equipment can temporarily help an alt clear a progression requirement, then return to the main afterward. Avoid over-investing Enhancement Stones in alt gear, though. Those resources are far more valuable on the character that will be farming T3 content.
| Character | Target Gear Score | Best Content |
|---|---|---|
| Main | 2,100+ | Fire Temple / Horn Den |
| Alt 1-4 | 1,400-1,500 | Urugugu / Vakron |
Crobakhi's Secret Depository is a Daily Dungeon built specifically for Kina farming. Each run gives you a set time to dodge bombs and collect coins, with a maximum payout of 300,000 Kina per clear. Your score directly determines how much you earn, so aim to collect every coin you can reach. Attempts are managed as a weekly pool in the Global version, meaning missing a single day does not cost you permanently.
Duty quests sit in the Journal's Duty tab and refresh on a rotation. At level 45, individual Duties have been reported paying around 50,000 Kina each. Five completions per day adds up to 250,000 Kina daily, or roughly 1.75 million per week from this source alone.
Weak Duty objectives can be rerolled, but the reroll cost increases with each refresh. Reroll when a quest sends you far out of the way for a mediocre reward. Do not reroll simply because one objective takes a few extra minutes. Duty: Command quests work differently, requiring Command scrolls purchased from merchants in Verteron and Altgard hubs, but they follow the same general pattern of tasking you to slay specific enemies or gather materials.
Story quests also deserve a mention here. Pushing a new character through the yellow campaign commonly delivers several hundred thousand Kina before you ever touch endgame instances. Do not skip them to start farming sooner.

Normal open-world fields have a daily Kina acquisition cap of 1,000,000 per character. Once you hit it, monsters stop dropping Kina and items. The Abyss operates differently and functions as the primary overflow farm once your limited PvE rewards are exhausted.
At around 2,200 GS, the Abyss becomes genuinely productive. Mobs drop regular Kina directly, and the loot pool includes gear, Manastones, Soulstones, Refining Stones, and crafting materials that all sell on the Market. Faction control of nearby forts improves drop rates, so keep an eye on the territorial situation before committing to a long session.
Abyss Points earned here can also be converted into market value. Buying Abyss-related materials and converting them into sellable items like Manastones creates a secondary income stream. Using Taiwan server data as a rough reference, 1 Abyss Point converts to approximately 18.4 Kina through this process. That means 100,000 AP represents around 1.84 million Kina in conversion value, though Global prices will vary.
Boss farming is high-risk, high-reward territory. The direct Kina from bosses is unremarkable, but rare tradeable drops can be worth hours of dungeon grinding if you get lucky. The items worth hunting for are Pantheon Artwork, high-rarity equipment, and Refining Stones.
Artwork belongs to the Pantheon system and can be traded freely. On Taiwan servers, desirable Artwork pieces have listed above 10 million Kina, with particularly sought-after items going higher. Notable tradeable drops include Artwork: High Overseer Nutah and Artwork: Guardian Lord Nahma, both of which can be obtained from their respective bosses alongside Epic and Unique gear.
Aion 2 shows boss drop tables directly in the game client, so check the table before committing time to a specific target. Treat boss farming as bonus income on top of your normal routine, not a replacement for consistent dungeon clears.
Gathering is the safest Market-adjacent farm because the only investment is time. The game has 61 gathering resource types, including Odyle, Ore, Rare Ore, Logs, Gems, Herbs, and more. Many resources also have higher-quality grades: Fine, Pure, and Radiant versions that appear directly in crafting recipes and command premium prices.
The early weeks of a new server are when raw materials sell best. Every player is upgrading gear and completing weekly objectives simultaneously, which creates strong demand for basic crafting components. Later, demand shifts toward refined materials and finished items.
Crafting can be profitable, but only when the finished item is worth more than the inputs. Check the Market before every serious craft. A useful example from the game data: Intermediate Manastones can be crafted through Alchemy at Beginner Level 20 using 5 Lesser Manastones, 3 Spiritstone Powder, and 2 Professional Ink (Bound). The craft has a 20% chance to produce a Superior Manastone instead, which raises the average value of repeated crafts above the base recipe output.

A large portion of Kina income comes not from farming it directly, but from recognizing which tradeable items other players actually need. Before vendoring any tradeable drop, check the Market price. Items worth price-checking every time:

The Supply Request system creates sudden price spikes worth watching. Both Supply Request: Emergency and Supply Request: Weekly can ask players to deliver specific Rare or Epic items, meaning an otherwise unremarkable piece can spike in value overnight. Checking the active weekly request before listing anything is a habit that pays off consistently.
For tips on managing your social connections and coordinating with other players to share Market intel, the Aion 2 friends guide walks through both methods for adding players and using the Friends panel.
Saving Kina is genuinely easier than farming it back. The most common mistake is enhancing every piece of gear you pick up during leveling. Enhancement fees accumulate fast, and leveling gear gets replaced too quickly for that investment to pay off.
| Frequency | Task |
|---|---|
| Daily | Complete the five most profitable Duty quests |
| Daily | Spend Odyle Energy on the highest available Conquest cube |
| Daily | Gather materials during travel and queue downtime |
| Daily | Check Market prices before crafting or vendoring drops |
| Weekly | Clear all available Crobakhi's Secret Depository attempts |
| Weekly | Complete Ascension Trial clears |
| Weekly | Run alt Conquest clears and move tradeable loot to main |
| Weekly | Review warehouse and list surplus Manastones, Refining Stones, and Artwork |
Combining Duties and Conquest clears each week puts roughly 3 to 4 million Kina in your pocket before counting Abyss income, Market sales, or alt contributions. Add those layers and the ceiling climbs considerably.
