Where to find Splendent Ruby: Elyos locations

Elyos players farm Ruby in Verteron. The most reliable concentration of nodes sits along the outer boundary walls of the Verteron Fortress Ruins, found southeast of the Dawn Legion Base. The deposits ring the ruined walls, so following the perimeter keeps you moving between nodes efficiently.

A handful of Ruby veins spawn directly inside enemy aggro ranges, but you can skip most fights entirely by using the Fly skill to approach from above and landing only when the node is clear. Fighting through every mob is slower than flying past them.

If the Fortress Ruins are picked clean by other players, the quest also accepts Ruby gathered from the Ellun River Midstream, Destroyed Abyss Gate, and Kraka Footpath. Rotating between two or three of these spots during busy server hours beats waiting on a single respawn.

The node density here is high enough that a single loop of the canyon can yield multiple extraction attempts before you need to wait on respawns.

Alternative locations for Asmodians include the Dredgion Crash Site, Tranein Highland, Silent Hill, and Nameless Cemetery. Any Ruby node in these areas can produce the Splendent Ruby (Bound), so there is no single mandatory spawn point.

How to turn in the quest and what you unlock

Once the Splendent Ruby (Bound) appears in your inventory, return to your faction's Artisan Essence Extractor:

• Elyos: Korius in Verteron
• Asmodians: Alzirr in Altgard

Handing in the item completes the [Upgrade] Essence Extraction Specialty quest. Your rank advances from Novice to Professional, the Level 50 cap disappears, and Essence Extraction resumes gaining XP normally.
