Aion 2 All Active Codes for October 2026: Free Rewards Guide
Claim every active Aion 2 redeem code for October 2026, see exactly what rewards you get, and follow the step-by-step redemption process.
Aion 2 launched globally on October 5, 2026, and one of the first real decisions you make has nothing to do with class or build. It's your server. Because every server in Aion 2 belongs to exactly one faction, picking the wrong one means starting over, and with character creation already locked on multiple servers within hours of launch, this choice carries more weight than most players expect. Here's everything you need to know before you commit.
Aion 2 uses a faction-specific server structure that's different from most modern MMOs. Each server houses only one faction. Elyos players live on Elyos servers, Asmodian players live on Asmodian servers, and the two sides only meet in cross-faction content like the Abyss and Spacetime Rifts.
When you log in, the selection order is fixed: Region first, then Faction, then Server. You can't skip steps or mix factions on the same home server. NC pairs each Elyos server with an Asmodian counterpart specifically for Abyss matchmaking, so the enemy faction you fight in PvP comes from your matched rival server.
If you want to play with a friend, you need to be on the same region, the same faction, and the exact same server name. Being on a paired enemy server means you'll only ever see each other as opponents in the Abyss.
As of the global launch on October 5, 2026, the total lineup covers 43 Elyos/Asmodian pairs across five regions, for 86 faction-specific home servers. The list includes both Advanced Access servers (opened before October 5) and Launch servers (added at global release).
Server names repeat across regions. EU Siel and NA East Siel are completely separate servers. Always specify your region, faction, and server name when coordinating with other players.
Europe has the largest selection, with 9 Advanced Access pairs and 9 Launch pairs.

This caught a lot of players off guard at launch. By the morning of October 6, 15 of the 22 Asmodian servers in Europe had character creation locked, including every single Advanced Access server. On the Elyos side, only 5 of 22 were restricted.
Here's the short answer: a locked server doesn't affect existing characters. You can still log in and play normally. The restriction only prevents new character creation, and it lifts once population pressure eases.
If you're stuck, your options are:
NC confirmed that server transfers open on October 14, 2026. Here's what's locked in:
What's still unclear: how many free transfers you get, how long the free window lasts, and what happens to Legion membership and Market activity during a transfer.
The Advanced Access vs Launch server distinction matters here. Don't start on a server you dislike assuming October 14 will let you move anywhere freely.
There's no objectively best server. The right answer depends on your region, faction, and who you're playing with. Here's a practical framework:
| Your priority | What to do |
|---|---|
| Best connection | Pick the region physically closest to you. Ping matters in action combat. |
| Playing with friends | Agree on region, faction, and exact server name before anyone creates a character. |
| Joining a Legion | Follow the Legion's announced region, faction, and server. |
| Avoiding queues | Check which servers are marked as recommended in the client rather than defaulting to the most recognizable name. |
| Language preference | No official language servers exist. Find community groups or Legions that coordinate by language. |
| PvP focus | Don't pick based on your current rival pairing. NC changes pairings periodically. |
The mistake most players make is rushing to the most familiar server name without checking if their friends are already locked out of it. Agree on all three values (region, faction, server) before anyone hits confirm.
No. The five official Global regions are Europe, NA East, NA West, Latin America, and Asia. There is no dedicated Oceania region. Players in Australia and New Zealand should test their actual connection to each available region and factor in where their friends or Legion are playing rather than assuming one region will work better than another.
Yes. NC confirms that instanced content, including dungeons, supports cross-server matchmaking. This makes a lower-population home server less punishing for PvE than it would be in a fully isolated server structure. That said, your home server still matters for open-world systems, your Legion, and the Abyss.

How many servers does Aion 2 have? As of the global launch on October 5, 2026, there are 86 faction-specific home servers across 43 Elyos/Asmodian pairs in five regions.
Can Elyos and Asmodians be on the same server? No. Each server holds one faction only. The two sides meet exclusively in cross-faction content like the Abyss and Spacetime Rifts, where each Elyos server is matched against a paired Asmodian server.
Do Advanced Access characters carry over to the global launch? Yes. Advance Access was continuous into the global launch and was not a wiped test. Your character stays on its server.
Are there language-specific servers? Not officially. NC does not designate any server as English, German, French, or Spanish. Language communities coordinate through Legions and Discord groups rather than official server designations.
Can I check which servers are still open? The in-game server list displays population with a colored dot system across three levels: Good, Full, and Overcrowded. Servers with character creation locked show a restriction notice. Check the Aion 2 global launch timing guide for context on when new servers have historically opened.
Should I grab active codes before picking a server? Yes. Some rewards from active Aion 2 codes are tied to the character or server where you redeem them, so claim them after you've committed to your home server.
