Disney Dreamlight Valley: Honeyglow Woods for Nintendo Switch - Nintendo Official Site

After wrapping up Chapter 3: A Very Satisfied Bear in Disney Dreamlight Valley, Winnie the Pooh is ready to push the Honeyglow Woods storyline forward. This interlude mission sends you deep into the Everoak Tree to track down his missing Sun-Glow Honey, recover a set of Memory Shards, and then clear a corrupted honey wall blocking the path to Gloommeadow. There are a few steps that aren't obvious, especially the Tummy Tonic recipe and the material grind at the end, so here's everything laid out in order.

How to start Interlude: The Misplaced Honey

Talk to Winnie the Pooh after completing Chapter 3. He'll bring up the box of crayons you found in the previous quest and mention an art-full place he wants to show you. Follow his lead and head to the Everoak Tree, where you'll find the entrance sealed by tree roots. Draw a picture near the tree using the crayons to clear the way and step inside.

What's inside the honey-filled hollow?

The inside of the Everoak Tree is packed with Pooh's honey stash. Head up the staircase and look for a note pinned to the wall. It reads: "Majikal Sun-Glo Hunny Goes Heer." Pooh clarifies that this refers to Sun-Glow Honey, his absolute favorite variety. Mentioning it makes him hungry, so your first task is simple: grab any honey pot from the floor of the cave and bring it back to him. That earns you your first Memory Shard.

tip
Don't overthink the first honey pot step. Any pot sitting on the cave floor works. You don't need to search for a specific one.

How to dig out the buried honeypot behind the shelf

Pooh remembers burying a pot somewhere behind a shelf. The shelf in question is on the far left side of the tree's interior, near a large honey pot. Move the big pot out of the way first, then slide the shelf on the right side over to expose a small opening in the wall. Dig up the buried honey pot from the floor in that opening and return it to Pooh for your second Memory Shard.

Pooh identifies this recovered honey as Merryberry Honey. Inspired, he decides to eat more honey to unlock further memories, which predictably results in a serious tummy ache.

What are the Tummy Tonic ingredients?

To settle Pooh's stomach, you need to craft a Tummy Tonic. A recipe book on the table near the tree's entrance gives you this hint: "Cook two seasonings and tea together to make a soothing drink. Don't add anything too spicy or sweet!"

The three ingredients you need are:

  • Ginger
  • Mint
  • Jasmine Tea Leaves

All three are available on the table next to the entrance. Combine them at the cooking station beside the table to produce the Tummy Tonic. Hand it to Pooh and he'll recover his memories completely, pointing you toward the Sun-Glow Honey's exact location. This nets you the third and final Memory Shard.

warning
The hint says nothing too spicy or sweet. Substituting other ingredients will not produce the Tummy Tonic. Stick to Ginger, Mint, and Jasmine Tea Leaves.

How to find the Sun-Glow Honey pot

With all three Memory Shards collected, Pooh now remembers where the Sun-Glow Honey is stored. Use the recovered memory image as a reference and head to the middle shelf near the cooking station. Interact with the center shelf to pick up the honey pot.

Carry it upstairs and place it on the honeycomb spot to trigger another Memory Shard sequence. After a short conversation with Pooh, you'll both exit the Everoak Tree and watch a cutscene showing Honeyglow Woods beginning to brighten up.

How to clear the corrupted honey wall and reach Gloommeadow

Pooh leads you toward the entrance to Gloommeadow, but a corrupted honey wall is blocking the path. Clearing it requires five types of materials. Here's the full list:

A few things worth knowing before you start farming:

Honeycrunch Bars require Golden Honey from your beehives and Sweet Chestnuts from trees in Drowsybloom Acre. If your beehives haven't produced enough Golden Honey yet, check out our guide on how to get to Honeyglow Woods for tips on setting up the biome properly.

Acorn Snails only come from white ripple fishing spots. Since Drowsybloom Acre is the only Honeyglow Woods biome accessible at this point, keep your fishing confined to the river there.

White Thistles can be slow to spawn. Clear every flower in Drowsybloom Acre to trigger respawns faster. Equipping a companion who auto-collects nearby flowers saves time here since you'll be farming other materials in the same biome anyway.

Honey Agate and Soft Limestone both drop from the dark mining spots scattered around Drowsybloom Acre. You'll likely gather both in the same mining session.

tip
Equip a flower-collecting companion before starting the White Thistle grind. You can mine, fish, and passively collect flowers at the same time, cutting the total farming time significantly.

Optional objectives worth completing

Before you seal up the honey wall, the quest offers three optional tasks:

  • Restore the Chez Remy Tree
  • Complete Winnie the Pooh's first Friendship quest, Grown-Up Things
  • Add 10 decor pieces to Drowsybloom Acre

None of these are required to finish the interlude, but knocking them out now saves you a trip back later. The Grown-Up Things friendship quest in particular is worth doing early since building Pooh's friendship level unlocks more content down the line.

Once all five materials are in hand, head to the corrupted honey wall and place them using its interaction menu. The wall clears, Gloommeadow opens up, and the interlude wraps directly into Chapter 4: A Tail Tale.

You'll also find a full collection of walkthroughs and tips in the Disney Dreamlight Valley guides hub if you're working through multiple quests at once.
