Fragments of Sacred Light are easy to come by during the opening hours of DragonSword: Awakening, but once you hit the endgame stage, that supply dries up fast. Each Stigma Awakened Stone costs 200 Fragments, and you need a steady stream of them to push your characters forward. The good news is that breaking the level 50 cap opens up the most efficient farming method in the game.
How to farm Fragments of Sacred Light efficiently
The fastest way to accumulate Fragments of Sacred Light is by completing Sudden Missions tied to specific boss enemies scattered across the world map. Finishing all 8 of these missions rewards you with 420 Fragments of Sacred Light per day (60 Fragments and 300 EXP per mission), which translates directly into enough material for at least two Stigma Awakened Stones every single day.
These missions reset daily at around 9 PM EST, so build your routine around that window.

The 8 Sudden Missions to complete every day
Here are all 8 Sudden Mission targets that drop Fragments of Sacred Light:
- Defeat Spark Droplet Murto
- Defeat Bargon, Wings of the Wild
- Defeat Aela, Wings of Ruin
- Defeat Autophagist Gult
- Defeat Sand Claw Dragus
- Defeat Acidic Slime Drazel
- Defeat Sticky Slime Frunk
- Defeat Earth-Splitting Cragmo
Where are all the Sudden Mission locations?
The majority of these encounters sit in the northern portion of the world map. Two exceptions break that pattern: Autophagist Gult is found at Silver Fort Outpost, and Spark Droplet Murto is located in Shadowed Wood, both positioned south of Orbis Castle.
Murto deserves special attention. Unlike the other seven targets, simply walking into the marked area will not trigger the Sudden Mission notice. You need to venture behind the waterfall at the marked location to find it. Every other enemy on the list will trigger the mission automatically as you approach.

What do Fragments of Sacred Light unlock?
Each Stigma Awakened Stone requires 200 Fragments, so completing all 8 daily Sudden Missions gives you enough for two exchanges per day with 20 Fragments left over. That surplus stacks over time.
Golden Treasure Map Chests offer another path to Awakened Stones outside of the Fragment exchange. You pick up the maps as puzzle rewards and activate them directly from your inventory screen.
How to maximize your daily Fragment income
Running all 8 Sudden Missions is the core loop, but a few habits make the grind faster:
- Track missions proactively. Use the Mercenary Guide's Sudden Mission tracker after your first encounter with each enemy so you never waste time searching.
- Plan your route north to south. Start with the northern cluster of six missions, then sweep down to Silver Fort Outpost for Gult and Shadowed Wood for Murto.
- Check behind the waterfall first when you reach Murto's location. Players who miss this detail often spend several minutes wandering the marked area without triggering the mission.
- Collect puzzle rewards consistently. Golden Treasure Map Chests supplement your Awakened Stone income and reduce pressure on the Fragment exchange.
