Eggs are among the most wanted ingredients in DragonSword: Awakening — and for good reason. Six different dishes rely on them, two of which are near-mandatory for surviving endgame raids. The catch is that you can't buy or trade for eggs. You have to go find them yourself, and knowing exactly where to look saves a lot of aimless wandering.

Where to farm Bird Eggs in DragonSword: Awakening

Bird Eggs are technically common, but their placement makes them easy to miss. They spawn inside nests perched at the tops of large trees, which means you'll walk right past them if you're not looking up. Across all of Orbis, there are over 200 nests scattered throughout the map.

The single best farming zone is Shadowed Woods. You can find 18 nests clustered together at the tops of the tall trees there, making it the most efficient route for bulk collection. After clearing Shadowed Woods, swing through Orbis Castle and the surrounding area. The danger level is low compared to other zones, and the nest density makes it worth the detour.

tip
Clear Shadowed Woods first, then loop through Orbis Castle on the same run. Both zones together give you a solid Bird Egg haul without fighting through high-level enemies.

Where to find all Goose Eggs in DragonSword: Awakening

Goose Eggs are a different story. They're rarer than Bird Eggs and don't appear in forests or near castles. Goose nests are found primarily along shorelines, so your farming route shifts entirely to coastal areas of the map.

Because Goose Eggs are harder to come by, prioritize them over Bird Eggs when you're short on time. The coastal routes have fewer nests per area, so plan your path carefully to hit every spawn point in one pass.

warning
Don't mistake Bird Egg nests for Goose Egg nests. They look similar but spawn in completely different zones. Heading to a forest looking for Goose Eggs will waste your run.

When do eggs respawn?

Both Bird Eggs and Goose Eggs share the same respawn schedule. After you collect all eggs in an area, they reset with the daily server reset at approximately 9 PM local time. There's no way to force a faster respawn, so plan one efficient daily run rather than checking the same spots repeatedly.

If you need large quantities quickly, focus on completing a full circuit of all known nests before the reset rather than farming one zone multiple times.

How to cook all egg dishes in DragonSword: Awakening

Six recipes use eggs as their primary ingredient. The cooking method matters as much as the ingredients, so pay attention to whether a dish requires Grilling, Boiling, or Slicing.

Which egg dishes should you prioritize?

For general play, the Fried Egg and Hard-boiled Egg are easy to make and cover your basic HP recovery and team attack needs. The Hard-boiled Egg's +85 attack buff lasting 15 minutes is particularly strong before boss encounters.

For endgame raids, Hamburger Steak and Omelet are the two dishes you want stocked. The Hamburger Steak's flat 1750 HP restoration combined with 30% max HP recovery makes it one of the best emergency heals in the game. The Omelet's 20-second regeneration effect stacks well with burst healing from other items.

Egg Renew becomes essential if you're running secret dungeons or working toward Kalien's secret outfit, since familiar stamina management becomes a real concern in those activities. If you're still building out your roster, the familiar unlock guide covers which familiars to prioritize and how their stamina systems work.

important
Egg Renew uses the Slice method, not Grilling. It's the only egg dish that doesn't use heat-based cooking, so double-check your cooking method before wasting ingredients.

Stocking up for raids

After testing these dishes across multiple endgame encounters, the ideal pre-raid prep is a stack of Hamburger Steaks for emergency heals and a few Hard-boiled Eggs to pop the attack buff before the fight starts. The Omelet works as a secondary heal option when you need sustained recovery rather than a single burst.

For the full context on how these dishes fit into your character progression, the DragonSword: Awakening beginner's guide breaks down the progression system and how cooking fits into your overall build strategy.

Building your egg farming routine

The most efficient approach is a single daily circuit: start in Shadowed Woods for Bird Eggs, loop to Orbis Castle, then hit the coastal zones for Goose Eggs before the 9 PM server reset. One full run should give you enough stock to cook the dishes you need without burning extra time on repeat visits.
