Who is Nicole and why should you start farming now?
Nicole is a 5-Star Pyro Catalyst character arriving in Genshin Impact during version 6.6 on her Angel's Reverie Banner. She plays as a support who buffs party attack, generates shields, and summons Arcane Projections through her Elemental Burst. Her kit revolves around the Hexerei character system, making her especially powerful in teams built around that mechanic. If you want her ready to slot in on day one, pre-farming starts now.

What are all of Nicole's ascension materials?
Ascending Nicole from level 20 to 90 costs 420,000 Mora and requires four distinct material categories: Agnidus Agate gems, Pine Amber (her local specialty), Remnant of the Dreadwing (the field boss drop), and the three tiers of Fatui Warrant drops.

Agnidus Agate can be farmed from any Pyro field boss in the game, or converted from other gem types at the Alchemy Bench using Dust of Azoth. If you already have leftover gems from other Pyro characters, check your inventory before farming.
Where do you find Nicole's materials?
Pine Amber
Pine Amber is Nicole's local specialty and the material you will need the most of at 168 total. It grows near trees throughout Wavechaser Plain and Voidsea Outlook in the northernmost islands of Nod-Krai. The Dreadshade Mire area alone yields around 54 pieces per route, with another 18 or so near Favonius Keep. Local specialties respawn 48 hours after collection, so plan two runs per week at minimum.
Remnant of the Dreadwing
This boss drop comes from the Lord of the Hidden Depths: Whisperer of Nightmares, a world boss located northwest of Kipumaki Cliff in Nod-Krai. You need 46 total, which means a lot of boss runs. Track it via the Adventurer's Handbook once you have the area unlocked.
Fatui Warrants (Tattered, Immaculate, Frost-Etched)
All three Warrant tiers drop from Fatui Oprichniki patrolling across Nod-Krai. The highest concentration of these enemies is around the Kuuvahki Experimental Design Bureau. They respawn after the daily server reset, so running that route every day is the most efficient approach.
Use co-op to farm Pine Amber and enemy drops in other players' worlds. Specialties and mob drops collected in co-op do not consume the host's respawn timer, so this is one of the fastest ways to bulk up your stockpile early.
What talent materials does Nicole need?
Nicole uses Elysium talent books, available from the Lightless Capital domain north of the Clink-Clank Krumkake Craftshop. That domain is open on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Her weekly boss material is Counterfeit Resin, dropped by the Exalted Master of the Heretical Path (a new Dottore-related boss releasing in version 6.6).

Crowns of Insight are extremely limited. You need 3 to max all of Nicole's talents at level 10. Check active events for Crown rewards before spending them on other characters if you plan to pull Nicole.
What should you level first on Nicole?
Nicole functions as an off-field support, so her Elemental Skill is the top priority for talent levels. It activates her Grace of Kenosis attack buff and generates the Shield of Blazing Light. Her Elemental Burst comes second, since it enables Arcane Projections and becomes more impactful in Hexerei team compositions. Her Normal Attack can stay at level 1 indefinitely since she will not be on-field dealing hits.
Character level itself matters too. Nicole's attack buff scales off her own ATK stat, so pushing her to level 90 directly increases the value she provides to the team. Prioritize level 90 before sinking resources into talent levels beyond 8 or 9 on the Burst.
Nicole's Constellations: are they worth pulling for?
Nicole's Constellation upgrades each add meaningful improvements. C1 adds a coordinated Arcane Projection: Unity attack dealing 600% of the active character's attack as AOE Elemental Damage every 6 seconds. C2 is the standout support Constellation, adding 240 flat attack to Grace of Kenosis (outside the buff cap) and reducing nearby enemies' Elemental Resistance by 20% against the corresponding element. C4 adds Pathfinder's Blessing, a buff that increases damage by 70% of Nicole's ATK for up to 8 hits, every 17 seconds. C6 makes Guidance of Theosis permanent once activated and causes characters with that buff to ignore 40% of enemy defense.
C2 alone changes how Nicole interacts with team compositions, effectively turning her into a resistance-shred support. If you are targeting constellations, C2 is the first meaningful stopping point.

Recommended weekly farming schedule
Farming all of Nicole's materials from scratch takes roughly two to four weeks depending on Resin usage and luck. Here is a practical daily breakdown:
- Tuesday, Friday, Sunday: Run Lightless Capital domain for Elysium talent books. Farm Fatui Oprichniki for Warrant drops on the same days.
- Monday (weekly reset): Defeat the Exalted Master of the Heretical Path for Counterfeit Resin. Do this immediately after reset so you do not forget.
- Every day: Collect Pine Amber on a 48-hour rotation. Fight the Lord of the Hidden Depths for Remnant of the Dreadwing. Clear Ley Lines for Mora when Resin allows.
Completing the new Archon Quest during version 6.6 within its limited window will also give you enough free materials to push Nicole to level 60 without farming, so clear that story content promptly.
Nicole's signature weapon: Angelos' Heptades
If you plan to run her signature weapon, the Angelos' Heptades catalyst, the ascension materials come from two sources. Enemy drops are Drive Shaft materials (Broken, Reinforced, Precision) from Landcruisers scattered across Nod-Krai, with the highest density on Paha Isle. The weapon ascension domain is Lost Mooncourt (Domain of Forgery: Radiant Splendor), available on Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays, which yields the Artful Device material series. Weapon enhancement uses Flaming Hilt drops (Faded, Fractured, Jeweled).
