- Loot a Sparkleaf in Dire Marsh
- Extract a Biotic Sample from the Sparkleaf at the Bio-Research POI
- Inject the synthesized sample at central Quarantine, then exfil

How to Loot Sparkleaf in Dire Marsh
Sparkleaf plants grow throughout Dire Marsh and do not have a fixed spawn location. You'll encounter them naturally as you explore the area during a run. Keep an eye out for the distinctive plant model as you move through the marsh (refer to in-game screenshots from Bungie for visual reference). Once you spot one, interact with it to add the Sparkleaf to your inventory.
Sparkleaf spawns are spread across Dire Marsh rather than concentrated in one spot, so don't tunnel-vision on a single area. Move through the zone normally and you'll likely find one without going far out of your way.

How to Extract Biotic Sample from Sparkleaf in Bio-Research
With the Sparkleaf secured, head to the Bio-Research point of interest, located in the eastern part of the map. The POI is marked by a large building that stands out clearly in the environment.

- Locate the ladder on the side of the building and climb it to reach the upper floor.
- Enter through the door directly at the top of the ladder.
- Inside, you'll find the extraction terminal used to process the Sparkleaf.

The Bio-Research building can attract other players or enemies. Clear the area before committing to the terminal interaction, since you'll be stationary and vulnerable during the extraction process.

How to Inject the Synthesized Sample in Central Quarantine

- Place your Biotic Sample into the terminal inside the small room.
- The terminal will process it and produce the synthesized sample.
- Inject yourself with the synthesized Biotic Sample.
