Fons is the main currency in Neverness to Everness, and the grind for it never really stops. You need it to buy homes, expand your cafe, grab vehicles, and kit out your characters with outfits and gifts. The good news is that the game layers multiple income sources on top of each other, and once you understand how they stack, the numbers get very large very fast. This guide breaks down every meaningful method, ranked by efficiency, so you can stop leaving Fons on the table.

What are Fons and why do they matter?
Fons is the primary in-game currency of Neverness to Everness, covering everything from real estate purchases to vehicle customization and character affection gifts. Investing Fons into shops early returns significantly more value than spending on cosmetics, because passive cafe income compounds over time. Prioritizing shop upgrades over a flashy new car in the first few weeks is the move that separates fast progressors from slow ones.
The currency also feeds back into itself. Buy a new shop, earn more Fons passively, use those Fons to buy the next shop. Getting that loop started early is the single most impactful thing a new player can do.

Reinvest your first large Fons payouts into Cafe by Origen shop slots rather than outfits or vehicles. The passive income return outweighs cosmetic value at every stage of the game.
How to Get Fons Fast
Here is how every major Fons source compares:
The Cafe by Origen
The Cafe by Origen is the highest-rated Fons source in the game, and for good reason. It generates income passively over time, meaning you earn Fons even when you are doing other things. The more you invest in expanding and upgrading it, the higher your hourly output climbs.
The basic loop runs like this: restock inventory, start operations, let income accumulate, then collect at settlement. Any gap in stock or operation time directly cuts into your earnings, so keeping the cafe running continuously matters.
How to maximize cafe income
Shop upgrades scale income more broadly than individual dish upgrades. Upgrading a shop increases customer flow, raises pricing potential, and improves hourly revenue across the board. Dish upgrades are still necessary because they require hitting sales thresholds, but shop-level upgrades should come first when you have to choose.
Decoration is not just cosmetic here. Tables increase customer spending, walls raise dish pricing, and general decorations improve customer flow. The individual bonuses are moderate, but fully optimized decoration adds up meaningfully over a full day of passive income. Some decor items placed in the cafe also directly increase Fons earnings, per GameWith's guide.
For restocking, LDShop recommends using one-click procurement over manual collection once you are managing multiple shops. The delivery cost is minor compared to the time saved and the reduction in downtime between restock cycles.
When a new shop slot becomes available for purchase in the Cafe, buy it immediately. That investment pays itself back faster than almost any other Fons expenditure in the game.
Daily quests: 20,000 Fons every single day
Daily Quests are the most reliable fixed income source in NTE. Completing all daily quests rewards 20,000 Fons per day. The individual task payouts range from 100 to 300 Fons each, with 8 to 10 tasks available daily, which adds up to a base of roughly 1,200 to 2,500 Fons. Hitting 100 Activity points on top of that grants an additional 800 Fons, bringing the full daily total per LDShop's data to approximately 2,000 to 3,300 Fons from quests alone before other bonuses apply.
These tasks are quick and straightforward. There is no reason to skip them.
City Tycoon and Hethereau Hobbies: stamina to Fons conversion
The City Tycoon system lets you take on roles like chef, driver, and fisher through Hethereau Hobbies mini-games. The conversion rate is fixed at 1,000 Fons per 1 point of City Stamina consumed, with no efficiency difference between which activity you pick. Play whatever you enjoy.
Your starting Stamina cap is 360, scaling up to 700 as your City Tycoon level increases. That translates to between 360,000 and 700,000 Fons per weekly Stamina cycle. Stamina resets every Sunday at 12:00 PM PST, per GameWith's guide, so make sure you spend it before then.
LDShop notes that Stamina fully refreshes automatically and does not decay, but the weekly reset means unspent Stamina is effectively wasted income. Set a reminder for Sunday if you tend to forget.
For the Owner's Selection mini-game specifically, LDShop identifies a recommended three-character setup at level 3:
- Nanally (available from standard banner): drives away customers and generates direct income
- Baicang (obtainable from 50-pull selectable S-rank): maintains combo chains to help secure 3-star clears
- Mint (free starting character, recommended): increases earnings with each combo
Pink Paws Heist: fastest short-term Fons burst
Pink Paws Heist unlocks at Tycoon Level 11 and is currently one of the most efficient ways to farm Fons in a short window. A single run takes roughly 8 to 10 minutes and can return up to approximately 100,000 Fons depending on execution. The cap on earnable Fons resets periodically, so you want to hit the limit before each reset.
The core approach: follow the fixed spawn location each run, progress through floors collecting valuables, avoid unnecessary combat to prevent income loss, and prioritize efficient routing over fighting everything in sight. Taking damage directly reduces earnings, so staying clean matters more than clearing every enemy.
Early on, engage enemies carefully. As your characters get stronger, clear speed improves and runs get faster.
Do not skip Pink Paws Heist runs before the cap resets. That is free Fons left uncollected, and the heist does not consume City Stamina, making it pure additional income.
Anomaly Zone: Realm of Greed and Special Commissions
The Anomaly Zone: Realm of Greed is accessible through Mammon at your Home, and it rewards Fons based on your current level. To unlock Mammon, you need to win the Gluttonous Eye in the Auction, which itself only becomes available after clearing Chapter 3 of the Main Story. The rewards reset every Sunday at 12:00 PM PST.
Because the payout scales with your level, GameWith's guide recommends challenging this content after leveling up as much as possible rather than rushing it at a low level.
Special Commissions work on the same logic. Accept them from the Old Mailbox at your Home, complete them for a level-scaled Fons reward, and collect once per week. Again, higher level equals higher payout.
Chiz basic attack farming: slow but worth it
Chiz has a unique mechanic where holding her Basic Attack extracts Fons from enemies. The total lifetime cap on this method is 500,000 Fons, and there is a daily limit on how much you can earn efficiently through it. The practical approach is to run this passively every day until you hit the overall cap rather than trying to grind it all at once.
If you do not have Chiz yet, GameWith notes there is a method to obtain her for free.

How much Fons can you earn per day?
Daily Fons income scales significantly as you advance:
- Early game: approximately 364,500 to 723,300 Fons per day
- Mid game: approximately 476,500 to 858,300 Fons per day
- Late game: approximately 606,500 to 1,038,300 Fons per day
These figures combine all active and passive sources running in parallel. The jump between stages comes primarily from cafe expansion, higher City Tycoon Stamina caps, and better level-scaled commission rewards.
What should you spend Fons on?
Not all Fons expenditures are equal. Here is the priority order based on GameWith's usage guide:
- Purchase new shops for The Cafe by Origen (top priority, directly increases passive income)
- Purchase a new home (Anomaly Furniture provides permanent stat bonuses and stamina reduction effects)
- Purchase and customize vehicles (improves Exploration comfort and Racing performance)
- Purchase interior decor (raises Collection Value, which increases maximum Stamina; some pieces boost cafe income)
- Purchase gifts for characters (increases Affection, unlocking companion features)
- Purchase character outfits (purely cosmetic, expensive, lowest priority)
Outfits are very expensive and there are multiple available, so GameWith explicitly recommends building your Fons income before spending on them.
