Get True Muramasa from the Gate of Behmoth chest, and craft Dreadbroom with Broomhilda on Halloween Island. These King Legacy Update 11 swords use different unlock routes in Roblox. True Muramasa sends you to a Third Sea boss and a chest roll. Dreadbroom needs Halloween materials from the Second and Third Seas, plus a crafted component. Budget for boss summons and the component recipe before spending all your candy on the final sword.
True Muramasa and Dreadbroom unlocks at a glance
| Sword | Unlock method | Main obstacle |
|---|---|---|
| True Muramasa | Open the chest inside the Gate of Behmoth after defeating Depth King | Getting the sword from the chest |
| Dreadbroom | Bring the required materials to Broomhilda on Halloween Island | Collecting boss materials and crafting Rotten Handle |
Choose your starting point by what you can access. True Muramasa's route is concentrated in the Third Sea. Dreadbroom requires travel between seas and several separate material checks, so keep a checklist of unfinished ingredients.
How to get True Muramasa
Defeat Depth King and reach the chest
Head to the Third Sea and wait for Depth King to spawn. This boss is the first step toward reaching the chest that contains True Muramasa.
Follow this sequence:
- Find Depth King after it spawns in the Third Sea.
- Defeat the boss to open the Gate of Behmoth.
- Look for the gate on the same island, adjacent to the boss's position.
- Enter the gate and open the chest inside.
- Repeat the boss-and-chest route if the sword does not drop.
The important interaction comes after the fight. Defeating Depth King opens access to the chest; the sword is a chest reward, not the completion reward for killing the boss.
Check the correct Muramasa drop
True Muramasa has a 4% drop chance from this chest. Plan for repeat visits instead of expecting the first successful Depth King fight to finish the unlock.
Check the item name if you are following an older Muramasa route. King Samurai's 15% sword drop is named Muramasa. Farming that boss targets the regular sword, not the True Muramasa chest reward described here.
How to craft Dreadbroom
Broomhilda on Halloween Island crafts Dreadbroom from four ingredients. Rotten Handle is itself a crafted component, so the final sword recipe is only part of your shopping list.
| Final recipe ingredient | Required quantity |
|---|---|
| Cursed Candy | 750 |
| Corrupted String | 1 |
| Rotten Handle | 1 |
| Withered Straw | 1 |
Dreadbroom is classified as a sword, but its second skill also provides movement: hold it to fly, build speed over time, and release it to trigger an explosion.
The finished sword is crafted, but some ingredients still depend on boss drops. Corrupted String is the main low-chance material to plan around.
Farm Corrupted String in the Second Sea
Travel to the Halloween Event Island in the Second Sea and find the Forsaken Grave NPC. This NPC handles the Skull King summon needed for Corrupted String.
- Speak with Forsaken Grave.
- Pay 200 Candies to summon Skull King.
- Defeat Skull King and check for Corrupted String.
- Repeat the summon and fight if the material does not drop.
Corrupted String has a 1.8% drop rate. Keep a separate summon budget because each new attempt requires another payment. Saving enough candy for Dreadbroom's final recipe does not cover repeated Skull King summons.

Summon the Skull King boss
Get Withered Straw from Jack-O'-Lantern
Defeat Jack-O'-Lantern in the Third Sea to obtain Withered Straw. This is the other boss material in the final Dreadbroom recipe.
Keep Jack-O'-Lantern and Depth King as separate farming targets. The former supplies the broom ingredient; the latter opens the route to True Muramasa's chest. If you are pursuing both swords, check which objective you are completing before committing to a fight.
Craft Rotten Handle with Broomhilda
Return to Broomhilda and select the Rotten Handle recipe. You need all of the following:
| Rotten Handle material | Required quantity |
|---|---|
| Candies | 300 |
| Twilight's Orb | 10 |
| Undead's Ooze | 100 |
| Logs | 250 |
Check your material inventory before returning to the NPC. Having Corrupted String and Withered Straw does not complete the recipe if the handle is still unfinished.
Craft the handle as an intermediate step, then keep it for the Dreadbroom recipe. The handle's candy payment is separate from the Cursed Candy required for the finished sword.
Collect the remaining Cursed Candy
Halloween bosses award Cursed Candy. Skull King is also a source, so check your balance after farming Corrupted String before deciding how much more currency you need.
Budget for three different payments: the finished sword, the Rotten Handle craft, and any Skull King summons. Avoid spending your final sword reserve on another summon without checking whether Corrupted String is still missing.
Track your drops and finish the craft
Update 11 added a pity system for materials, accessories, and swords, with a displayed count of attempts remaining until a guaranteed drop. Check the in-game counter while farming instead of treating a percentage as a fixed number of runs.
For Dreadbroom, compare your inventory against the final recipe after completing the handle. Count the finished Rotten Handle as the ingredient, not the materials you planned to use to make it.
Once every ingredient is ready, return to Broomhilda on Halloween Island and craft Dreadbroom.
