Sailor Piece Guide: How to Get Secret Archangel Race

The Archangel race is one of the strongest things you can equip in Sailor Piece right now, and it does not come from a simple reroll. You have to earn it by evolving the mythical Angel race through a three-part questline called the Divine Trials, all of which take place in the Sea 2 region. The stats it hands out are genuinely absurd: +100% Damage, +115% Max HP, and +55% Luck, among others. If you are pushing endgame content, this race makes a measurable difference.

What do you need before starting the Archangel quest?

Two hard requirements exist before you can even talk to the right NPC. First, Sea 2 must be unlocked. This means speaking with the Sea Traveler on World Island, collecting the hidden Map Pieces, finding the Ancient Fragments, and reaching Ascension 5. Second, you need the Angel race equipped. Angel is a mythical-tier race obtained through Race Rerolls, and the drop rate is low.

Once both conditions are met, teleport to Blue Planet Island in Sea 2. Head slightly right from the portal along the straight path and you will find the Celestial Guide NPC. She will not interact with you unless Angel is equipped. Talk to her to begin the three Divine Trials.

Divine Trial 1: How do you get the five secret drops?

The first trial asks you to collect 5 secret rarity items. These are Aura Crates, Cosmetic Crates, Secret Chests, and Guild Keys. They can drop from any NPC or boss, but the drop rate is low enough that pure farming can take a while.

The faster route is to visit the Crystal Defense Merchant NPC on Punch Island. This vendor sells the relevant crates directly for Crystal Coins. The Secret Chest is the cheapest option at 500 Crystal Coins per piece, making it the most efficient buy if you are short on currency. If you have Crystal Keys banked, use them to generate more coins before heading to the shop.

Trading with other players is also a valid shortcut. If someone in your server has spare secret items, a trade gets this step done in seconds.

Divine Trial 2: Where are all four hidden Angel Halos?

The second trial sends you across Sea 2 to collect four hidden Angel Halos. These are static spawns, so they do not require any combat. Here is where each one sits:

Divine Trial 3: Which bosses drop the Angel Halos?

The third and final trial requires three more halos, and these only come from boss kills. Each halo has two possible boss sources, so you can target whichever is easier for your current build. The named halos and their respective bosses are:

How do you complete the Archangel evolution?

After collecting all seven halos across both trials and the five secret drops from the first trial, return to the Celestial Guide NPC on Blue Planet Island. Interact with her and the Angel race automatically upgrades to Archangel. No additional items or currency are required at this final step.

If you accidentally reroll Archangel away after unlocking it, you can reclaim it by equipping Angel again and speaking to the Celestial Guide. The questline does not need to be repeated.

What stats does the Archangel race give you?

The +100% Damage and +115% Max HP numbers are the headliners here. Combined with the +55% Luck, Archangel is genuinely the strongest race for players who want to farm rare items while also surviving boss fights. The +15% Double Drop Chance stacks well with other luck-boosting gear, making it especially good for grinding drops like the Azure Heart from Yamato or the Dark Grail from Sea 2 islands.
