The Soul Reaper sword, better known to Bleach fans as Ichigo's blade, is one of the strongest mid-game weapons in Sailor Piece. Its wide slashes hit hard, the Getsuga Tensho C-skill fires a ranged blast at enemies, and the V-skill triggers hollowfication for a burst window. Getting it takes real effort, but the payoff is a weapon that carries you through tough bosses and harder islands.
Where to find the Ichigo NPC in Sailor Piece
The Ichigo NPC is not sitting in the main hub waiting for you. According to the Eurogamer guide published April 2026, you need to travel to Hollow Island (also referred to as Hueco Mundo in the Sportskeeda source) and find him standing on the east side of the island, right at the edge of a ledge overlooking the sea. Run past the small tilted building near the portal and you'll spot him staring out at the water.
Press E to interact with him. He'll show you exactly what he wants before handing over the sword.

Sailor Piece Guide: How to Get the Soul Reaper Sword (Ichigo)
What does the Soul Reaper sword cost?
This is where the grind starts. To purchase the Soul Reaper from the Ichigo NPC, you need all of the following at the same time:
Cash and Gems stack up naturally through quests, chest farming, and regular enemy kills. The three special materials are the real bottleneck, and they all come from one place.
warning
Soul Flame has only a 0.70% drop rate from the Soul Reaper boss, confirmed by Sportskeeda's drop table. Plan for many boss runs before you have both copies.
How to find and defeat the Soul Reaper boss
The Soul Reaper boss spawns on Boss Island. Head to the Boss Summoner NPC there and pay the entry fee: 5 Boss Keys, 350,000 cash, and 600 Gems per attempt. Hit the Spawn button and the boss appears on the island.
The boss has 65,000,000 health, so you want your Weapon, Melee, or Fruit stats maxed before you start farming. Spec Passives, Traits, Clans, and Races all contribute extra damage and survivability, so stack what you can before committing entry fees.

Here is the full drop table for the Soul Reaper boss:
The Hollow Mask accessory also drops here at 2.00%. It starts with 50% Defense, 40% Damage, and 15% Damage Reduction, and you can improve those numbers through the Enchanter NPC. Worth picking up if it drops during your Soul Flame grind.
Is there a faster way to get the Soul Reaper sword?
Yes, and it is genuinely worth knowing about. Every boss you defeat in Sailor Piece drops a Boss Ticket at 100% drop rate. You can take those tickets to the Boss Exchange NPC, located just down the shore from the Boss Summoner NPC on Boss Island. Hand over 500 Boss Tickets and the NPC gives you the Soul Reaper outright, no special materials required.
This route is especially useful if other players keep stealing boss kills before you can secure the rare drops. Since Boss Tickets are a guaranteed drop, grinding 500 of them across any boss gives you a fixed, predictable goal rather than relying on 0.70% luck.
info
The Boss Ticket route costs nothing extra beyond the entry fees for whatever bosses you farm. If you are already running other bosses for different reasons, you can passively accumulate tickets toward the Soul Reaper at the same time.
What makes the Soul Reaper worth the grind?
The sword earns its mid-game reputation. The Getsuga Tensho C-skill fires a ranged projectile, giving you options against enemies that like to keep distance. The V-skill hollowfication gives you a burst damage window to close out boss fights. The dark red aura on every swing is a nice visual bonus, but the wide slash hitbox is what actually makes it reliable in combat. For the amount of effort the grind takes, you end up with a weapon that handles most content between early-game and the harder late-game islands.
