Sell Fries! is a Roblox survival game that disguises itself as a casual fast-food sim until the clock hits 8 p.m. During the day you peel potatoes, fry them up, serve customers, and pour cash into automation upgrades. At night, anomalies come knocking and the whole operation turns into a fight to stay alive until morning. The actual win condition is finding a key hidden inside the potato pile, unlocking the basement hatch, and jumping in before the anomalies wear you down.
How does the core fry loop work?
Every run follows the same four-step production chain. Grab a potato from the outdoor pile, carry it to the peeling station, work through the minigame until no skin remains (a potato with any peel left will not cook), drop it in the fryer, then hand the finished fries to the customer at the service window. There is no cap on how many fries you can serve in a single order, so cooking a bigger batch before approaching the window pays out more cash in one go.
Early sales bring in roughly 20 to 22 cash per order. By mid-run, a large batch under a cash boost can clear 1,000 in a single transaction. Customers wait about 50 seconds before giving up, so do not start an order you cannot finish. Watch for golden and crystal (blue/diamond) potatoes in the pile as well. Both varieties sell for significantly more than standard ones and are worth prioritizing when you spot them.

What is the best upgrade order?
The kitchen wall Shop sells both machine and tool upgrades. Buy them in dependency order so each machine feeds into the next rather than sitting idle.
| Upgrade | Cost | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Conveyor Belt | $60 | Rolls potatoes directly into the building |
| Auto Peeler | $500 | Eliminates hand peeling |
| Potato Robots | $1,000 | Auto-collects potatoes onto the conveyor |
| Auto Fryer | $6,000 | Cooks peeled potatoes without you |
| Fries Shooter | $12,000 | Automatically serves customers at the window |
Start with the Conveyor Belt at $60 since everything else depends on it. Pair it with the Robot Helpers upgrade found outside next to the potato pile. These robots gather potatoes and drop them onto the belt on their own, though you can still toss extras in manually to push production faster. Follow with the Auto Peeler and Auto Fryer to handle prep, then add the Fries Shooter to automate service entirely.

For carrying tools, prioritize the Vacuum early and keep upgrading it. The basic Bucket holds 3 potatoes for $100, the Vacuum holds 8 for $1,000, and the Golden Vacuum holds 20 for $9,800 (or 54 gems) from the street shop. More potatoes per trip means less running back and forth and a noticeably smoother workflow.
The Shop Clock upgrade skips the night straight to morning, which means your free perk choices arrive sooner. Pick up the Cash Boost upgrade as a mid-run buy alongside Potato Robots to raise both throughput and income at the same time.
Street shop items worth buying
Sometime during the day, a notification announces that the shop across the street is open. Its stock rotates by day and includes items at different rarity levels. Save up before crossing because Legendary gear like the Flamethrower can appear.
The Flamethrower burns through the potato pile rapidly, depleting it so the hidden key surfaces much sooner. Burned potatoes are not wasted since each torched pile converts directly into cash. Before you start burning, drink the Money Potion ($13,000, 1.5x cash multiplier) so the conversion payout is as large as possible.

Which perks should you pick each morning?
Survive a night and the next morning offers a set of perks to choose from. Three options are clean upgrades. The fourth is stronger but carries a drawback, such as doubled nighttime earnings at the cost of more frequent anomalies, or a large health boost that slows your movement.
- Walk Faster — move 15% faster
- Sticky Hands — keep potatoes if you take a hit
- Night Bonus — +25% cash earned at night
- Growing Cash — +10% more cash each day
- Robot Boss — robots work 25% faster
- Tough but Slow — +100 max health, but walk 25% slower
While you are still learning the run, pick More Health to give yourself more room for mistakes. Once you have the anomaly responses down, shift toward output perks like a faster fryer or cash multipliers. The cursed trade-off options are worth taking only when you are confident you can handle the extra pressure they bring.

What are the best classes in Sell Fries!?
The Classes station in the lobby lets you spin for one of seven archetypes. Each spin costs 25 Gems, and one free ad-based spin is available per day. Gems come from completing runs, so there is no shortcut to a specific class.
| Class | Rarity | Drop rate | Money boost |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dishwasher | Common | 40% | +5% |
| Peeler | Uncommon | 28% | +10% |
| Runner | Rare | 16% | +15% |
| Fry Cook | Epic | 10% | +25% |
| Head Chef | Legendary | 4.5% | +40% |
| Fry Tycoon | Mythic | 1.3% | +40% |
| Potato King | Divine | 0.2% | +100% |
Potato King (Divine, 0.2%) is the best class in the game. It starts you with 1,000 Cash, a Vacuum, a Money Potion, and a Cross, gives the entire team +50% money and +3 speed, and saves a teammate from death once per day. Its active ability wipes all monsters, revives the team, and triples sales simultaneously.
Fry Tycoon (Mythic, 1.3%) is the realistic high-end target most players should aim for. It opens with 500 Cash, a Vacuum, a Cola, and a Cross, pays 25% interest on your cash every morning, and its active ability grants 5x money for 20 seconds.
Fry Cook (Epic, 10%) is the most attainable class worth actively chasing. It raises your gem earn rate by 10%, makes you immune to hot oil, gives a 50% chance to fry double, and can instantly finish cooking while doubling the output.
How do you counter every anomaly?
Anomalies begin spawning at 8 p.m. each night. When you are outside after dark, a visual filter creeps across the screen as a warning. Linger too long and something comes after you. Keep the fry loop running through the night but respond to each threat immediately.
| Anomaly | What it does | How to counter it |
|---|---|---|
| Window Anomaly | A dark figure stands at the service window asking for fries | Close the shutter fast, or let the Window Fries Shooter drive it off automatically |
| RUN INSIDE! | A shadowy entity chases you while you are outside | Get back into the kitchen and stay away from doors for a few seconds |
| Potato-eating Monster | A creature munches potatoes on the conveyor belt | Hold the interact button until it is scared away |
| THE GIANT! | A huge monster casts damaging beams marked by ground circles outside | Finish outdoor tasks between beam casts; dodge out of any circle you are standing in |
| Power Out | Everything goes dark and the power box needs fixing | Find the lit power box outside and connect the wire sequence to restore power |
| Stuck Robot Helper | A robot freezes and stops collecting potatoes | Interact with the robot to free it |
THE GIANT! is the most dangerous anomaly for players caught outside. The beam casts every few seconds, so use the downtime between attacks to finish whatever you need to do outside, then get back in. If you are already inside a circle when it appears, run out of it rather than standing still.
Some nights stack multiple anomalies at once, and the count tends to grow with each passing night. Running solo means juggling the shop, the key hunt, and every threat at the same time. A teammate makes the whole thing significantly more manageable.

How do you find the hidden key and finish the run?
The key is the actual win condition. The game marks it with a "Find the key, it's hidden in a potato" objective from the start. There are two ways it can arrive.
The standard method is digging through the potato pile between customer orders. The key is inside one potato, and it can take a long stretch of searching before it turns up. Using the Flamethrower to burn through the pile is by far the fastest approach, especially when combined with the Money Potion beforehand to convert the burned potatoes into a large cash payout at the same time.
In some runs, an entity at the window hands the key over directly rather than making you dig for it. If that happens, grab it immediately.
Once you have the key, follow the marker to the padlocked basement hatch, unlock it, and jump in. The YOU WIN! summary screen appears with your run stats and a reward of 100 gems. Those gems go straight back into class spins for your next run.
