To get the Halloween Trophy in Work at a Pizza Place, reach the Maze of Terror's exit while the seasonal event is accessible. This Roblox challenge uses a fixed maze layout, with wall textures, a tic-tac-toe board, and distinct junctions marking the route.

The walkthrough below covers the 2026 maze. Its scheduled event window ran from October 27 to November 1, 2026, and the trophy remained collectible into November 2. Check for ScurvyBeard's boat behind the pizza place before planning a run, because access is seasonal.

How to enter the Maze of Terror

Choose any role when you join Work at a Pizza Place. You do not need to complete pizza orders or pick a particular job to reach the maze.

Walk outside and around the back of the restaurant. Find the small pier where ScurvyBeard waits with his boat, then board it to travel to the maze island. After arriving, walk through the large entrance doors.

The Halloween Trophy comes from this maze challenge. The Work at a Pizza Place The Hunt badge and UGC belong to a separate quest, so those objectives are not steps toward the trophy.

Follow the route to the Halloween Trophy

Reach the lava room and tic-tac-toe board

Start by keeping close to the left wall. At the first branch, continue forward along that wall. Follow the passage until you enter a large room with lava-like walls and a chest in its center.

Find the first route landmark

The lava room has several branching passages. Your next landmark is a corridor with a tic-tac-toe board mounted on a wall. Look for the connection to that board before continuing with the left-wall directions below.

You can complete the board by placing the final X in the top-right square. Another chest is in this area. Keep the board as your navigation reference, because finding a chest elsewhere does not establish that you are moving toward the exit.

Take the middle path in the stone section

From the tic-tac-toe area, follow the left wall again. Whenever the route branches, choose the far-left passage. Continue until the walls change from brick to stone.

At the junction with three paths, take the middle passage. Continue forward through this section until the wall style changes again and the route leads left.

Turn around the next corner, then keep to the right wall. Follow it into a long corridor. This corridor is your next checkpoint before the final stretch.

Pass the chest dead end and reach the exit

At the next branch, the right-hand path leads to a chest and a dead end. The left-hand path continues toward the trophy. Treat the right branch as an optional detour: if you collect its chest, return to the same junction and take the left branch.

From there, follow the right wall for the rest of the route. You will pass moss-covered walls and different stone textures before seeing a faint glow near the finish.

Approach the trophy in the lit area to collect it. A cutscene plays and ends the maze run.

How to handle the maze monsters

The 2026 maze contains three encounter types. Only the Pumpkin Skeleton deals damage; the other two interrupt visibility or create a distraction.

EncounterHow to recognize itWhat it doesWhat to do
Pumpkin SkeletonA large skeleton with a flaming jack-o'-lantern head and a laughing soundChases you briefly and deals repeated damage at close rangeKeep moving away. If it blocks the required passage, hug either wall and run around it.
GhostA roaming figure surrounded by bright white lightChases you, triggers a brief jumpscare, and temporarily disables your lantern without dealing damageAvoid its approach. If caught, wait for the lantern to return when no skeleton is nearby.
DoppelgängerA copy of your avatar peering around a corner with a red glowDisappears when approached, without damage or other effectsContinue along your route instead of retreating from it.

A skeleton eventually returns to its starting position after its short chase. Staying beside it exposes you to more hits, so do not stop near one to check directions.

If a Ghost takes your light, avoid choosing a new branch in the dark. Resume navigation once you can identify the walls and junction ahead. Other players can also help distract enemies while you work through the route.

What the trophy unlocks and which chests to collect

Display the trophy in your house

The 2026 Maze of Terror Trophy is furniture you can place in your own home. Its default appearance is entirely gold, with a ghost floating above a cylindrical base and a rectangular plaque displaying 2026.

If your next goal is a wearable Halloween reward, The Hollow's Candy Corn Rune Antlers guide covers a separate Floor 7 pumpkin puzzle for an avatar accessory.

Decide whether to return for coins

The maze also contains regular and hidden coin chests. Their rewards are separate from collecting the trophy at the exit.

Chest groupNumber of chestsCombined reward
Regular chestsSeven1,400 coins
Hidden chestsThree600 coins
Total102,000 coins

Save a full chest search for a separate run if the trophy is your priority. During that search, check apparent dead ends for camouflaged passages instead of assuming every closed-looking route is solid.

If you prefer another puzzle collectible to a coin sweep, The Hollow's Rotting Pumpkin guide covers its Floor 8 item puzzle and carrying the Relic back to the elevator.

You can replay the Maze of Terror, but each chest can be collected only once. Repeating a chest you have already opened will not provide another payout.
