What to check if a code fails
Work through these checks before repeatedly submitting the same string:
- Check capitalization and punctuation. The current Halloween code uses Halloween2026!, including the final exclamation mark. Copy the string exactly.
- Check your account's previous claims. A code that you already redeemed on the same account cannot provide another claim.
- Check the expired list. Older event and player-count milestone codes may no longer work.
- Try another server. Close and reopen the experience, or join a different server, if a newly announced code fails. An older server may not have the updated build yet.
A server change is a troubleshooting step, not a guarantee that an expired code will work.
