Week 2 of Tom Clancy's The Division 2 Y8S2 Into the Dark is live, and the Scout 2 Manhunt challenges are now available. Three tasks stand between you and the next step toward the season's Climax mission. None of them are complicated, but knowing exactly where to go and what to do saves you from wandering around DC trying to decode the hints on your own.
What are the Scout 2 Manhunt tasks?
The three tasks for Scout 2 are:
- Complete any two hostile Open World activities
- Sell 10 items at the DZ West Safe House
- Complete one Extraction in any Dark Zone
Each task has a clue attached to it in-game, but the solutions above are what you actually need to execute. Work through them in order and you can knock out all three in a single session.
How to complete two hostile Open World activities
Open World activities are the dynamic events scattered across DC and the game's other maps. Any two completions count toward this task regardless of location, type, or difficulty setting, so there is no reason to overthink it.

The fastest options to target are:
Public Execution and Propaganda Broadcast are the two to prioritize if you want to move on quickly. Drop the difficulty to Normal if you just need the completion and are not farming loot at the same time.
How to sell 10 items at DZ West Safe House
This task catches some players off guard because it requires you to sell specifically at the DZ West Safe House, not a standard Base of Operations vendor. Head into the Dark Zone West, find the safe room at the center of the zone, and look for the gun locker inside.
From there, sell any 10 weapons or gear pieces from your inventory. The item type, rarity, and value are irrelevant. If your stash is running low, run a quick mission beforehand to pick up extras, or pull out any gear you have been holding onto that you no longer need.
How to complete one Extraction in any Dark Zone
The final task requires you to complete a full Extraction run inside any Dark Zone. Start a fresh run, eliminate the enemies that attempt to stop your extraction, and see it through to completion.

The zone you pick does not matter for this task, so choose whichever Dark Zone you are most comfortable in. DZ West is a natural choice since you will already be there for the selling task.

What rewards do you get for completing Scout 2?
Finishing all three Scout 2 tasks moves you one step closer to the season's Climax mission and nets you the associated Manhunt rewards for Week 2. The tasks themselves are not the most demanding content Y8S2 has to offer, but skipping them means missing out on progress toward the endgame payoff.
