Warframe Guide: How to Get All Citrine Prime Relics
Advertisement

Warframe added Citrine Prime with the Iceblade of Narin update, and she's one of the more grind-intensive Prime farms in recent memory. Two of her four components sit at the rare reward tier, meaning no pity system and a lot of Void Fissure runs before you see the parts you need. The good news: with the right nodes and a bit of Radiant prep, you can cut the expected run count significantly.

What Relics do you need for Citrine Prime?

Citrine Prime's four components are locked behind four separate Relics, each from a different era. Here's the full breakdown:

Loading table...

The Chassis from Neo C11 is a common drop, so you'll likely grab it early without much effort. The Systems from Lith S19 sits at uncommon, which is manageable. The real bottlenecks are the Blueprint (Meso C11, Rare) and Neuroptics (Axi C12, Rare). Plan your Void Trace spending around those two.

tip
An Intact Relic gives only a 2% chance at a rare reward. Refine Meso C11 and Axi C12 to Radiant (using Void Traces) and that jumps to 10%. Always upgrade the rare Relics before cracking them.

Why Radiant Shares matter for rare parts

The math on Radiant cracking gets better when you add squadmates. If four players each equip the same Radiant Relic and collect their 10 Reactant, the squad sees four separate reward draws at extraction. Everyone can pick from any teammate's reward without affecting the other players' options. One mission effectively gives the group four shots at that 10% rare drop instead of one.

Head to the Recruiting tab in chat, specify which Relic you're cracking and at what refinement level (Intact, Exceptional, Flawless, or Radiant), and confirm everyone is running the same tier before launching. Mismatched refinement levels are one of the most common ways players waste a Radiant Share.

Warframe Guide: How to Get All Citrine Prime Relics

Lith S19 (Systems, Uncommon)

Hepit in the Void is the fastest Lith node in the game. It's a Capture mission that can finish in under a minute with a fast frame like Titania, and every completed run has roughly a 6.67% chance of dropping Lith S19 specifically. The speed makes up for the moderate drop rate.

If you prefer Disruption, Olympus on Mars drops Lith Relics on rotations A and B at around 14.29% per rotation. Push to rotation C and it flips to a Meso drop, which means you can double-dip on Lith and Meso in a single extended run. Teshub (Void Exterminate) and Taranis (Void Defense) are solid alternatives if you want variety.

Meso C11 (Blueprint, Rare)

Io on Jupiter remains one of the cleanest Meso farms. Run two waves of the Defense mission, check the reward, then reset. Each two-wave cycle carries roughly a 12.5% chance for Meso C11. A crowd-clearing frame keeps each attempt quick.

Ukko in the Void is the other strong option. It's a fast Capture with a shared Meso and Neo reward pool, sitting at around 6.25% per run for either Relic you need. If you're already running Olympus on Mars for Lith, continuing to rotation C there gives a 14.29% Meso chance without changing nodes.

important
Since the Blueprint is a rare drop from Meso C11, prioritize getting this Relic to Radiant before cracking. Spending Void Traces here is more valuable than on Neo C11 where the Chassis is already common.

Neo C11 (Chassis, Common)

Because the Chassis is a common reward, you don't need to stress the node choice much. Kappa on Sedna offers a 14.29% chance for Neo C11 on rotation B. Restart after every two waves to force that rotation consistently.

Newer players can run Xini on Eris, an Interception node that drops Neo Relics and is less demanding than higher-level Disruption content. Ur on Uranus (Disruption, rotations B and C) and Berehynia on Sedna (Interception) are both reliable for players with stronger builds. Ukko in the Void can also produce Neo Relics through its shared pool.

Axi C12 (Neuroptics, Rare)

Apollo on Lua is the go-to for Axi farming. The Disruption mission drops Axi Relics containing C12 at approximately 14.29% on rotations A and B, dropping slightly to 12.42% on rotation C. Longer runs here also build a stock of extra Axi Relics you can sell or trade after completing your set.

Xini on Eris works as a lighter alternative if Apollo's Disruption feels too punishing. Axi Relics appear on rotations B and C there, and the Infested enemies are generally easier to handle than Lua's units.

warning
The Neuroptics from Axi C12 is your most likely sticking point. Expect this to be the last part you complete. Stock up on Void Traces specifically for Axi C12 Radiant upgrades and coordinate Radshares whenever possible.

How to use Syndicate Relic Packs to speed things up

When your Syndicate Standing is capped and you're waiting for the daily reset, Relic Packs give you extra rolls without running another mission. Each pack costs 20,000 Standing and contains three current Relics or Aya, with newly released Relics like Citrine Prime's included in the possible results.

Here's where to buy them:

  • Six original Syndicates (New Loka, Perrin Sequence, Steel Meridian, Arbiters of Hexis, Red Veil, Cephalon Suda): most players have at least two at max rank, giving multiple pack purchases per cycle.
  • Open-world vendors after reaching rank 2: Old Man Sumbaat in Cetus, Smokefinger in Fortuna, and Otak in the Necralisk all sell packs.
  • Teshin at any Relay sells packs for 15 Steel Essence each, with a weekly cap of 25 packs.

This approach works best as a supplement to active farming rather than a replacement. The RNG on packs is wide, so don't rely on them as your primary source for rare Relics.

How to crack Relics and build Citrine Prime

Once you have the Relics ready, the process is straightforward:

  1. Open Navigation and select a Void Fissure mission matching your Relic's era (Lith, Meso, Neo, or Axi).
  2. Equip the Relic you want to crack before launching.
  3. During the mission, collect 10 Reactant from corrupted golden enemies.
  4. Complete the objective, then choose your reward at extraction.
  5. Take all four components to the Foundry, build each one individually, then assemble Citrine Prime.

Components can be traded between players, so if one rare part refuses to drop, check the trade chat for someone selling an unbuilt Blueprint or Neuroptics. Launch-week prices tend to be inflated, so farming first and trading as a last resort usually saves resources.
