Is the Black and Gold outfit worth buying the Deluxe Edition for?
The Black and Gold Crew Attire is locked to players who purchased the Deluxe Edition of Black Flag Resynced. If you're playing through Ubisoft Plus, you also receive this outfit automatically as part of the subscription. There's no in-game method to unlock it otherwise, so if you're on the standard edition, this one stays out of reach.

How to get the Deceased Crew (Skeleton) outfit
This is the outfit most players will work hardest for, and it's genuinely worth the effort. The Deceased Crew Attire turns your entire crew into skeletal pirates, which fits the pirate fantasy better than anything else in the game.
Step 1: Get the Jackdaw
You need the Jackdaw before any of this is accessible. Progress through the story until the ship is yours.
Step 2: Find the island Harbourmaster
Head to the center of the map. There's a small island there, too small to have a standard port. Despite that, a Harbourmaster operates along the shore. This is the only vendor who sells the Deceased Crew Attire.
Step 3: Collect 206 bones
The outfit costs 206 bones, which you collect by hunting animals and whales during your travels. There's no shortcut here. The bones accumulate naturally if you engage with the hunting systems, but reaching 206 requires a deliberate effort. Prioritize whale hunting when you spot opportunities on the open water, as larger animals tend to yield more materials per encounter.
Once you have 206 bones, trade them with the Harbourmaster and the Deceased Crew Attire is yours.
