Totenreich is the kind of Zombies map that rewards players who explore every corner. Set in a frozen Norse fishing village pulled into the Dark Aether, it hides 25 pieces of Zombie Intel across its zones, spanning 9 Audio Logs, 11 Documents, and 5 Artifacts. Some are sitting in plain sight on barrels or crates. Others are locked behind Easter eggs, side quests, and a wonder weapon acquisition chain. If you want 100% completion in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, this is the complete breakdown of every single one.
What is Zombie Intel and why should you collect it?
Zombie Intel is the collectible lore system in Black Ops 7 Zombies. Each piece adds context to the map's story, covering Group 935 experiments, Dark Aether corruption, and the history buried beneath Totenreich. There are three types: Audio Logs, Documents, and Artifacts. Collecting all 25 across the map counts toward full completion and fills in significant story beats that the main quest doesn't spell out directly.
Several pieces of intel are tied to specific quest steps or character requirements. Read the notes on each entry before starting a run so you don't accidentally lock yourself out.

All Audio Log locations in Totenreich
Audio Log 1: Building Blocks
From the spawn area in Eidskallen Landing, turn right and head toward Lief's Boat Repair on the opposite side from Quick Revive. The Audio Log sits on a barrel just outside the door.
Audio Log 2: Limitations
This one requires some setup. Shoot the small vent in the northeast corner of the middle warehouse in the Core Factory, then send an ARC-XD through it. Drive the ARC-XD across the ramp inside and detonate it near the barrels blocking the far door. This opens the entrance to the Group 935 Genetic Lab, which is to the left of Pack-a-Punch on Fishery Island. The Audio Log is on a table immediately to the left as you enter.
Audio Log 3: The Chair Incident
Still in Eidskallen Landing, find the large wooden barrel near the giant robot's head. A smaller barrel sits to its right. Interact with it to find this Audio Log tucked inside a message in a bottle.
Audio Log 4: The Serpent's Head
Head north to Eidskallen Square and look for a boat docked on the shore. The Audio Log is on the boat.
Audio Log 5: Talk
This one is inside the War Factory, on the control terminal next to the giant robot head in the lower area. You can only access this section after activating Tyr's Head as part of the power-on quest.

Audio Logs 6, 7, and 8: Problems, Solutions, and Counting the Cost
All three of these come from the Richtofen Side Easter Egg, and they all involve a radio inside Von List's room during the flashback sequence. To trigger the side quest, you need to be playing as Richtofen, have both the Jotunn Star and Melee Macchiato, and reach at least Round 15. Melee a barrel outside the Core Foundry while facing south to start the flashback.
Once inside, interact with the radio on the shelf to hear the audio, then interact again and enter the following codes:
- Problems: 01-01-05
- Solutions: 09-03-05
- Counting the Cost: 07-00-04
You must be playing as Richtofen to access this side quest. Starting a run with a different character means these three Audio Logs and several Documents will be completely unavailable that session.
Audio Log 9: He Left Us
In the Core Foundry, find the small warehouse directly across from Double Tap Root Beer. The Audio Log is on a metal table against the southeast wall inside.
All Document locations in Totenreich
Document 1: Little Fishes
Enter Skallen Market, the area where Mule Kick is located. Near an electrical pole, spot a crashed cart. The Document is tucked at the bottom of the crate behind it.
Document 2: Saboteur
At the Dry Dock, make your way to the back where Speed Cola sits. The Document is on a barrel against the east wall, just to the right of the perk machine.
Document 3: Rezoning
In Eidskallen Square, find Nordvik's Bakery in the north district. The Document is on a box to the right of the front door, outside.
Document 4: Secret and Safe
Also in Eidskallen Square, enter the building that houses the Arsenal. Face the southeast wall (the one with white paint) and look for the Document hanging there, just before the stairs descending toward the shore.
Document 5: Beneath the Boards
On Fishery Island, enter the red building to the left of Pack-a-Punch via the stairs. Face east from inside (Pack-a-Punch is below you at this point) and jump while pressing interact to grab the Document from the wooden boards above.
Document 6: Priorities
Inside the War Factory, go up the stairs and face back down toward where the Arsenal is positioned below. There is an open vent at this angle. Throw a grenade, or better yet a Semtex, into the vent to knock the Document loose.
Documents 7 and 8: Radio Operator and Tyr's Bell
Both of these are in the Lighthouse, but they have different timing requirements.
Tyr's Bell is at the very top of the Lighthouse and can only be grabbed during the Jotunn Star wonder weapon quest. If you collect the Jotunn Star without picking this Document up first, you will need to start a new game. Don't skip it.
Radio Operator becomes available after you have already completed the Jotunn Star quest. Return to the Lighthouse and head to the now-accessible second floor. The Document is underneath the stairs, near the cabinet holding the crowbar.
Documents 9, 10, and 11: Dossier, Report, and Telegram
All three are tied to the Richtofen Side Easter Egg and are unmissable once you are inside. You need to pick up each one to progress through the quest, so as long as you complete the side Easter egg, all three are yours automatically.
All Artifact locations in Totenreich
Artifact 1: Fishy Fish Bot
This one involves a multi-step side quest on Beacon Island. Pick up a fish from the wall near the Arsenal on Beacon Island. Then grab a Shock Charge and wait for a T.E.D.D. Task to spawn. When it does, activate the task, place the fish, and throw a Shock Charge at it. Complete the T.E.D.D. Task normally. This drops a fish and a controller. Take both to the antique store in Eidskallen Square to craft the Fishy Fish Bot and unlock the Artifact. For the full breakdown, see the Olaf's Cod Cranker and Beacon Island fish Easter egg guide.
Artifact 2: Jotunn Star
The Jotunn Star Artifact registers automatically when you acquire the Jotunn Star wonder weapon through the Main Quest. No extra steps needed beyond completing the quest itself.
Artifact 3: Ritterkreuz
The Ritterkreuz drops automatically upon finishing the Richtofen Side Easter Egg. Remember, this requires starting a game as Richtofen specifically.
Artifact 4: Anatomy Chart
This is in the Group 935 Genetic Lab, the same secret room you open to get Audio Log 2. Once inside, find it on the east wall. The ARC-XD steps are covered under the Limitations Audio Log section above.
Artifact 5: Blueprint
In the Core Foundry, enter the warehouse that contains the GobbleGum Machine and the Mystery Box. The Blueprint is on the southeast wall inside. If you need a reference point, the VS Recon wall-buy is downstairs from this position.
The Blueprint and the He Left Us Audio Log are both in the Core Foundry warehouse area. Grab both in the same pass to save time.
Which intel pieces are easiest to miss?
The ones tied to quest progression are the most commonly skipped, but the trickiest to permanently lose are the two Lighthouse Documents. Tyr's Bell vanishes as a pickup option the moment you complete the Jotunn Star quest, so it has to come first. Radio Operator only appears after the quest, so the order matters.
The three Richtofen Side Easter Egg radio codes are also frequently overlooked because players who don't run as Richtofen never trigger the side quest at all. If you want all 25 pieces in a single playthrough, plan your character selection before the run starts.
