Season 5 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is shaping up to be the biggest content drop the game has seen yet. Five multiplayer maps, a brand-new round-based Zombies map, a fresh Warzone POI, three new weapons, and a stack of limited-time modes are all on the table. Here's every confirmed piece of content, broken down by mode, so you know exactly what's coming and when to expect it.
What's new in Multiplayer for Season 5?
Five maps are arriving across the season, and the spread covers everything from tight-quarters chaos to a full Freerun experience that tests your movement skills rather than your aim.
Three launch-window maps arrive on day one: Jubilee (a new medium-sized 6v6 arena), plus remasters of Frequency and Dig. Dig in particular is a small map, so expect fast, punishing gunfights there from the start.
Mid-season brings Turbo Tilt, which supports both 6v6 and 2v2 play, and Freerun: Descent, a parkour-focused map that sits in its own category entirely.

Season 5 full content roadmap
Alongside the maps, three limited-time modes are confirmed:
- Overdrive Domination
- Gauntlet Rush
- Cranked Moshpit
A new batch of Ranked rewards is also part of the Season 5 package, so competitive players have extra reason to grind.
What Zombies content is coming in Season 5?
Zombies players are getting a full slate of additions, but the headline is Rex Infernus, a new round-based map arriving in the mid-season update. Round-based maps are always the main event for the Zombies community, and this one also brings returning perks and legacy weapons back into the mix.
Before Rex Infernus drops, there's still plenty to work through at launch:
- Survival Map: Eidskallen Lighthouse
- Directed Mode: Kowakujo
- Starting Room: Kowakujo
- Rogue Run: Astra Malorum
- Round-Based Map: Rex Infernus (mid-season)
If you want to build up your Zombies fundamentals before diving into the new content, the Black Ops 7 Zombies guide covers everything from weapon upgrades to survival strategies.
What's new in Warzone for Season 5?
The biggest Warzone addition is Drone Labs, a new Verdansk POI positioned east of the TV Station and south of Quarry. Drones patrol the area, and shooting them down rewards you with the loot they're carrying. It's a high-risk, high-reward play that will pull in aggressive squads early in matches.
Beyond Drone Labs, the full list of Warzone additions includes:
- Armed JLTV Vehicle
- Lockdown Casual LTM
- Heavy Metal Heroes LTM
- Juggernaut Armor
- Supply Drones
- HKDs Killstreak
- Quickdrop Kit
- Special Delivery Drone
What new weapons are coming in Season 5?
Season 5 adds three new primary weapons, a melee option, and a set of attachments. Two of the weapons unlock through the Battle Pass, while the rest are tied to weekly events and challenges.
New Weapons:
- FG42 (Assault Rifle)
- Gremlin (SMG)
- Mammoth (LMG)
- Mace (Melee)
New Attachments:
- Jager 45 Grid-Breaker Kit (Barrel)
- M34 Novaline Garand Conversion (Stock)
- EAM IR-VIZ Thermal Reflex (Optic)
- M15 Mod 0 AMR .50 Cal Kit (Fire Mods)
- RK-9 Calibrated Strike System (Barrel)
- Peacemaker MK1 Gauss Accelerator (Fire Mods)
The Gremlin SMG is worth watching closely for close-range Multiplayer and Warzone builds. SMGs with new attachment options tend to find their way into the meta fast, especially on smaller maps like Dig and Turbo Tilt.
What is the Endgame content in Season 5?
Two additions are coming to Endgame at Season 5 launch. The first is a new assignment called Burn Run, where you race against the clock in a bomb-rigged vehicle before it detonates. The second is Exotic Ability Boosts, which let you upgrade both your Major and Minor Abilities.
Both pieces of Endgame content are free-to-play for the duration of Season 5. Once Season 6 launches, access will require Black Ops 7 ownership, so try them out during the season window if you haven't committed to the full game yet.
