The Mysterious Dog side quest in CONTROL Resonant is one of the game's most charming detours. The quest, called Every Dog Has Her Day, sends you across all seven major regions of Manhattan to track down a friendly but clearly supernatural dog. Each time you find her, the task is the same: locate her missing Dragon toy and return it. The challenge is that the toy is never just sitting next to her.

1. Downtown
The dog waits at the southern edge of Downtown, near the area below the early Power Core puzzle. Look east from her position and you'll spot a lower rooftop with a dog food commercial painted on its side. The Dragon toy is sitting by the stairwell door on the roof directly above that billboard. Float over, grab it, and bring it straight back.
2. Central
From the dog's rooftop north of East Park Station, look directly north. You'll see a narrow alleyway below with laser barriers crisscrossing the path. At the far end of the alley, a dog food billboard is lit up by a streetlight. The Dragon toy is right there at the base of it. Drop down, pick it up, and navigate the lasers carefully on your way back out.
3. Evacuation Zone
The dog sits between two folded buildings bathed in red light northeast of the Sinkhole. From her position, look west and you'll see two mirrored Chowrap billboards facing each other. Use the raised rooftops in front of them to get enough height, then adhere to the rooftop surface above. The Dragon toy is lying in the lit area up there.
4. West Incursion Zone
The dog is west of the Parking Garage, close to where the city geometry bends upward into a sheer vertical wall. Look south and you'll find another Chowrap billboard. The Dragon toy is resting on an air conditioning unit on the rooftop to the billboard's left. Your gravity powers let you adhere to the surface and pick it up without any complicated traversal.
5. The Park
Find the dog at the northeast edge of The Park, then look east. A higher rooftop is accessible via an exterior elevator, and there's a dog-themed billboard up there to confirm you're in the right spot. The Dragon toy is on a desk table, lit by floodlights. Take the elevator up, grab it, and ride back down.
6. Underpass
This is the most disorienting encounter. The dog is high up on a structure northeast of the Research Site, and if you look directly above her, you'll see the Dragon toy stuck to the ceiling thanks to a gravity anomaly. You can't reach it from below.
Instead, head to the north side of the structure where a raised platform gets you close enough to the ceiling to adhere to it. Walk along the ceiling back around to where the toy is, grab it, then cancel the gravity inversion to drop back down normally.
7. Unknown
The dog is on a garden rooftop on the northwest island, close to the fast travel door. The Dragon toy is farther away than usual. Look left from the dog and find the building with a multi-dog billboard on it. Right beside that billboard is a sign reading "BAR" with an arrow pointing downward. The toy is on the balcony that arrow is pointing to. Drop down to the balcony and grab it.
