The Picture Pursuit event in Disney Dreamlight Valley is one of the more demanding scavenger hunts the game has thrown at players, and the Cinderella quest is arguably the trickiest of the bunch. You need to photograph 4 hidden Gus Motifs scattered across the Vitalys Mines, a dimly lit underground area that makes spotting small symbols genuinely difficult. This guide covers every exact location so you can wrap up the quest without wandering the tunnels for half an hour.
How do you start the Picture Pursuit: Cinderella quest?
Before heading underground, you need to activate the quest properly. Track down Cinderella in the valley and speak with her. She'll point you toward the Vitalys Mines and explain that four Gus Motifs are hiding somewhere in that area. Once that conversation is done, the hunt officially begins.
The Vitalys Mines sit underneath the waterfall in the Sunlit Plateau biome. Head there, find the entrance, and step inside. The good news: you don't need to go deep into the winding back tunnels. All four Gus Motifs are positioned relatively close to the entrance, so resist the urge to explore the entire mine.

Where are all 4 Gus Motif locations in Vitalys Mines?
The four Motifs split across two paths from the main entrance. Two are on the right side, two are on the left. Here's the full breakdown.

Enter the mines and turn right. Cross the stone bridge over the river, walk past the cooking station, and circle around the table with the chessboard on it. Look to your right immediately after passing the chessboard and you'll spot the first Gus Motif sitting on a wooden box.

From the first Motif, continue down the right-side path. Pass the wooden wheelbarrow on your left, then go slightly past the minecarts sitting in the middle of the path. Stop before you reach the room on your right. Look back slightly to the left and you'll see a ramp heading upward. Climb it and look down toward the water pool near the waterfall to find the second Gus Motif on a wooden crate at the edge.

Head back to the main entrance and this time go left. Start down the left-side path and look almost immediately to your right. The third Gus Motif is sitting on top of a stack of three wooden boxes right at the start of this route. It's the easiest one to spot if you're looking in the right direction.

From the third Motif, keep moving down the left path and enter the main mine tunnel. Shortly after stepping inside, look to your right. There's a stack of two wooden boxes with a black bottle resting on top. The fourth Gus Motif is on the backside of those crates, so you need to angle your camera around to see it properly.
What do you get for completing the Cinderella quest?
Once you've photographed all 4 Gus Motifs, return to Cinderella. She'll hand over a golden Motif bag containing the Gus symbol. From there, the Motif becomes available for use in Touch of Magic clothing designs, letting you apply it to custom outfits.
