Disney Dreamlight Valley Guide: All Pete Motif Locations

The Picture Pursuit event in Disney Dreamlight Valley sends you on scavenger hunts that are trickier than they look. Small motif images hidden around large, detailed interiors are easy to walk right past, and the Picture Pursuit: Mickey quest is no exception. Mickey needs you to track down four Pete Motifs split between two houses, and if you don't know exactly where to look, you'll be spinning in circles.

What is the Picture Pursuit: Mickey quest?

This quest is one of several scavenger hunts tied to the Picture Pursuit event. Mickey Mouse tasks you with finding four hidden Pete Motifs scattered across the interiors of Mickey's house and Goofy's house. Two motifs are in each location, so you'll need to visit both buildings to wrap this one up. The Pete Motifs are small images placed on furniture and household objects inside the two houses. They blend in easily, so slow down and scan surfaces carefully rather than rushing through.

How to start the Mickey quest

Before any motif hunting begins, you need to trigger the quest properly:

Talk to Mickey Mouse to activate the quest and get your instructions.
Head to Mickey's house first to search for the two motifs hiding inside.
Then travel to Goofy's house to find the remaining two.
Return to Mickey once all four are collected to finish the quest and claim your reward.

Pete Motif 1: Mickey's bed

Step inside Mickey's house and immediately look to your left. The bed sits along that wall, and the first Pete Motif is printed on the blanket draped across it. It's one of the easier ones to spot since the bed is right there as you enter.

Pete Motif 2: Mickey's fridge

From the entrance, walk straight toward the back wall, then angle slightly to the right to reach the kitchen area. The second Pete Motif is on the side of the fridge facing you as you approach. Check the panel closest to you rather than the front door of the fridge.

Both motifs in Mickey's house are at roughly eye level on their respective objects. If you're not seeing them, try adjusting your camera angle slightly downward.

Pete Motif 3: Goofy's bed

Enter Goofy's house and walk straight to the back wall. Once there, turn right and look down. The third Pete Motif is on the blanket covering Goofy's bed. The downward angle is what catches players off guard here since most people scan at eye level and miss it entirely.

Pete Motif 4: Goofy's couch

Head toward the fireplace in Goofy's house, then turn left to face the couch. It has yellow Mickey and Minnie Mouse cushions on it. The fourth Pete Motif is on the pillow sitting right in the middle of the couch, appearing as a blue motif against the lighter fabric.

Finishing this quest puts you one step closer to clearing the full Picture Pursuit event, but there's still more to do.
