Corrosive Solvent is one of those materials in Palworld that looks unassuming on paper but quietly sits behind a huge chunk of the best endgame gear. You can't loot it from a chest or farm it off a Pal. You make it, and you'll want to make a lot of it, because the recipes that call for it are not stingy with their requirements.
What do you need to craft Corrosive Solvent?
The recipe unlocks at Technology Level 37. Until you spend a point on that node in the Technology tree, the craft won't appear anywhere, regardless of what station you're standing at. Once unlocked, every batch requires exactly 1 Venom Gland and 1 Sulfur.
The Production Assembly Line is the best station to use here. It's unlockable at level 29, runs on electricity, and processes crafts significantly faster than a basic workbench when you have the right Pals assigned. If you're planning to stack Corrosive Solvent in bulk, which you should be, the Assembly Line is the only sensible choice.

How to get Venom Glands
Venom Glands drop from dark and poison-type Pals. Depresso is one of the more accessible sources early on, spawning at night in the area between the Desolate Church and the Small Settlement. Cawgnito is another reliable option, found on the island west of the Ravine Entrance near the Hill of Beginnings, also active at night.
For a passive supply, head to Feybreak and capture a Caprity Noct (level 55 in that area). Assign it to a Ranch at your base and it produces Venom Glands automatically without you having to go hunting every time you need a batch.

A quick trick worth knowing: capturing a Pal still yields their material drops, and if you then butcher them with a Meat Cleaver, you get a second round of drops from the same Pal. It's more efficient than just killing them outright.
Merchants can also carry Venom Glands, with the Small Settlement vendor being worth checking, though stock isn't guaranteed on every visit.
Where to find Sulfur
Sulfur comes from the large yellow ore nodes scattered across volcanic and desert biomes. The volcano to the far west of the Hill of Beginnings is the most concentrated source, but it's a dangerous area. Bring heat-resistant armor or the hot weather debuff will drain your health steadily.
Desert regions also have Sulfur nodes if the volcano feels too punishing at your current gear level. Dungeons past the Ravine Entrance have a reasonable chance of containing Sulfur as well, which makes them worth running if you want loot and materials at the same time.
Once you hit level 46, you can unlock Sulfur Quarries using Ancient Technology Points and place them directly at your base. That removes the need to mine manually and keeps your production line fed without regular map trips.

What is Corrosive Solvent used for?
The material feeds into a long list of crafting recipes, covering weapons, armor, saddles, production stations, and base infrastructure. Here's the full breakdown with Technology tier requirements:
Some of these recipes are not light on Corrosive Solvent. The Katana needs 6 per craft, Lightweight Plasteel Armor requires 8, and the Tactical Grenade Launcher calls for 15. Crafting a single unit at a time will not get you far. Stock up before you start queuing the high-tier recipes.
For players pushing into late-game crafting, Corrosive Solvent connects directly to other advanced material chains. If you're working through those recipes, the Palworld 1.0 guide on crafting Cryogenic Coolant covers a similar tier of materials and is worth reading alongside this one.

Building a reliable farming loop
The most efficient setup treats Venom Glands and Sulfur as two separate but parallel supply chains. For Venom Glands, a Ranch-based Caprity Noct handles passive production once you've captured one. For Sulfur, either run a manual mining loop through the volcano or desert until level 46, then switch to Sulfur Quarries at your base.
The Production Assembly Line handles the actual crafting, so make sure it's powered and staffed with Pals that have decent work speed. The higher the work speed stat on your assigned Pals, the faster each batch completes.
Given how many late-game recipes pull from Corrosive Solvent, treating it like a stockpile resource rather than a craft-on-demand item will save you a lot of time. Make 20 or 30 at a go rather than queuing singles.
For more on the rare materials that feed into the same tier of gear, the Palworld 1.0 rare resources locations guide covers where to find everything from Soralite to Ancient Civilization Cores. If you're building out a complete late-game crafting setup, the full Palworld guides collection has every material and recipe covered in one place.
