Get Flash Step in Anime Piece by buying it from Rob Lux on Starter Island for 5,500 Beli and three types of enemy souls.

This Roblox ability teleports you forward, giving you another way to reposition during fights. Every required soul comes from Starter Island, so you can finish the material farm without traveling elsewhere. The useful approach is to take quests for the enemies you already need to defeat, earning Beli and EXP alongside their drops. However, those quest payouts alone will not cover the full purchase price.

Flash Step requirements

Rob Lux needs three separate soul types plus a Beli payment. Collecting extra ordinary Bandit Souls will not replace either Higaro material.

RequirementAmount neededWhere to get itDrop chance
Bandit Souls15Bandit enemies on Starter Island100%
Higaro Bandit Souls15Higaro Bandit enemies on Starter Island100%
Higaro Souls5Higaro boss on Starter Island100%

The soul drops are guaranteed, so this unlock is a fixed material farm rather than a rare-drop hunt. Check each soul stack separately in your inventory before returning to the trainer.

Where to find Rob Lux

Follow the windmill landmark

The Flash Step Trainer, Rob Lux, stands inside a cave behind the giant windmill on Starter Island. The cave is a hollow along the island's outer cliff, with a campfire and wooden crates beside the trainer.

Use this route to identify the correct NPC:

  1. Find the giant windmill on Starter Island.
  2. Head behind it toward the island's edge.
  3. Follow the cliff path to the cave opening.
  4. Look for Rob Lux and the Flash Step Trainer label.

Use the CLICK interaction prompt to open his dialogue. You can review the purchase requirements here before heading back to the village to gather the materials.

How to farm the Flash Step souls

Collect Bandit Souls with Zack's quest

Find Zack in the starter village beneath the Level 0-10 label. His quest asks you to defeat the ordinary Bandits around the village, making it a useful companion to the first material farm.

Target enemies labeled Bandit [0+]. Keep track of their soul drops in your inventory, and use the requirement table to decide when to move on. These enemies supply Bandit Souls, not the similarly named Higaro Bandit Souls needed for the next part.

Collect Higaro Bandit Souls with Robe's quest

Robe stands beside the village fence under the Level 20-30 label. Speak with him and choose Sure! to accept the quest involving Higaro's henchmen.

Fight the Higaro Bandits in the sandy yard. Their pickup notification reads Higaro bandit Soul (1x), which helps you confirm that you are collecting the correct material without repeatedly reopening your inventory.

Collect Higaro Souls from the boss

Speak with Relouneibor outside the village house and accept the quest against Higaro. The boss stands in a sandy clearing, and defeating him produces the Higaro Soul (1x) reward notification.

The boss material has its own inventory entry. Check that entry after your fights instead of using the Higaro Bandit Soul total to judge whether the boss requirement is complete.

Earn Beli while collecting the materials

Compare the matching quest rewards

Each enemy group has a corresponding quest. Take the matching quest before fighting so those defeats also contribute toward a Beli and EXP payout.

Quest giverObjective per completionBeli rewardEXP reward
ZackDefeat 5 Bandits20043
RobeDefeat 5 Higaro Bandits25076
RelouneiborDefeat Higaro once400196

The soul requirements line up with three completions of Zack's quest, three completions of Robe's, and five completions of Relouneibor's. At the listed reward values, those completions pay 3,350 Beli in quest rewards.

Starting from zero Beli, that leaves a 2,150 Beli shortfall against Rob Lux's price. Cover the difference through additional quests or chests. Your actual remaining amount depends on the Beli you already hold and any other rewards collected along the way.

Check the full payment before leaving

Use the trainer's requirements as your final checklist. Having all the souls is only part of the purchase, and reaching the cash target does not replace a missing material.

Finish any outstanding collection or money farming before returning to the cave. This keeps the final trainer visit focused on completing the unlock.

Buy Flash Step and use it

Complete Rob Lux's purchase

Return to Rob Lux with every requirement ready, then follow these steps:

  1. Interact with him to reopen the training dialogue.
  2. Select Sure! to confirm the purchase.
  3. Look for Successfully you learn: Flash Step to confirm the unlock.

The purchase consumes the required materials and charges the Beli cost. The learning message is your confirmation that the ability is ready to use.

Flash Step versus normal Dash

Press R after learning Flash Step. Its value is movement: use it to close a gap or change position during a fight, not as a damage increase.

Movement optionMovement behavior
Normal DashYour regular dash, with less speed and distance than Flash Step
Flash StepA forward teleport that moves faster and farther than normal Dash

Equip the Little Apprentice title

Learning the technique also unlocks Little Apprentice. This is a cosmetic title, with no stat boosts or special combat buffs.

To display it above your character:

  1. Open Menu.
  2. Select Titles.
  3. Find Little Apprentice.
  4. Select Equip.

Equipping the title is optional. Once Rob Lux's learning message appears, you can use R for Flash Step whether or not Little Apprentice is displayed.
