The Adventures of Elliot The Millennium ...

The bow is one of the more demanding weapons to build correctly in The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales. Unlike swords or spears, which settle into a consistent setup fairly early, the bow rewards players who adapt their magicite choices as their arrow supply grows. Get it right and you have a ranged powerhouse that handles tough, distance-keeping enemies better than almost anything else in the game.

What bow magicite is available?

Before picking a build, it helps to know exactly what you're working with. There are 15 bow magicite options in total, covering everything from arrow conservation to fire-based chain reactions.

How does the bow build change throughout the game?

The bow's magicite priority shifts more than any other weapon as you progress. Early on, arrows are a finite resource. Shops are your only reliable way to restock, so every shot needs to count. That context makes Final Shot, Soul Beam, and Piercing Arrows genuinely strong early picks.

Final Shot guarantees crits when you drop below 10 arrows, which turns a near-empty quiver into a burst window rather than a panic. Soul Beam covers the floor-zero scenario entirely, letting you deal significant damage even when completely out of arrows at the cost of some health. Piercing Arrows stretches each shot further by passing through multiple targets, which matters when you can't afford to waste shots on grouped enemies.

Early-game arrow conservation setup

Once you accumulate a solid quiver stockpile, the whole calculus changes. A high-rank Conservation magicite makes running dry almost impossible, even with Double Shot active. At that point, spending magicite slots on arrow economy is wasteful. The better investment shifts to raw damage, critical output, and build flexibility.

Which bow magicite are always worth taking?

A handful of picks hold value across every stage of the game, regardless of where you are in the story.

Attack Up is the simplest and most consistent of the bunch. More damage is always relevant. Magic Homing adds a meaningful layer to charged attacks by making them track targets, which is especially useful against enemies that move erratically or stay at range. Linked Arrows turns single hits into multi-target pressure by triggering extra attacks on nearby enemies, which scales well into the late game when enemy density increases.

The Fire Shot and Explosives combination deserves special mention. Fire Shot burns enemies on hit, and Explosives causes burning enemies to detonate when struck again. The two together create a chain-reaction setup that punishes grouped enemies and makes regular attacks feel significantly more threatening than their base numbers suggest.

What is the best endgame bow build?

After testing the bow extensively against the game's harder enemies, particularly the ones that actively maintain distance from Elliot, the following nine-slot setup proved most effective. Every slot here uses five-star magicite.

This build costs 58 points total, leaving two points spare under the cap.

The core loop here is straightforward. Fire Shot into Explosives handles grouped enemies and softens tougher targets. Magic Homing ensures charged attacks connect reliably. Double Shot increases arrow output on regular attacks, while Conservation keeps the supply healthy enough that you never feel the pressure. Linked Arrows adds passive multi-target pressure on every hit.

Critical Damage Up and Attack Up round out the damage floor, and Charging Shot fires additional targeted shots each time you hit a new charge threshold, which adds consistent output during extended fights.

With this setup, both regular and charged attack patterns are viable in any encounter. The bow stops being a situational pick and becomes a reliable choice for any enemy that refuses to close the gap.
