The Adventures of Elliot: The ...

The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales has 44 achievements standing between you and the Platinum trophy. Most will pop naturally as you play through the story, but a handful require deliberate effort, specific weapon usage, and tracking down collectibles you can easily miss on a blind run. This guide covers every single one, with clear unlock conditions so you know exactly what you're working toward.

How many achievements does the game have?

The total count sits at 44 achievements. One of those, A Millenial Adventure, only unlocks once you've cleared every other achievement on the list. Think of it as the Platinum equivalent for those playing on PC. The rest break down into story-related unlocks, combat milestones, collectible hunts, and quest completions.

Which achievements unlock automatically through the story?

A solid chunk of the list requires no special effort. Just play through the main campaign and these will unlock on their own:

  • The Strange Doorway - Find the Strange Doorway in the unexplored ruins
  • A Devastated World - Arrive in the Age of Reconstruction
  • A Prosperous Nation - Reach the Age of Magic
  • Where Wisdom Will Bud - Arrive in the Age of Budding
  • First Generation - Form Magicite for the first time
  • Overflowing Vitality - Increase your vitality for the first time
  • Arms Master - Acquire every weapon type
  • Inheritor of Nomutota - Acquire the Mystic Seal
  • A Shield Restored - Restore the Moonmirror's Power
  • Don't Stop Adventuring - Ask Faie for revival after your first defeat
  • Problem Solver - Complete your first quest

These are essentially free, so cross them off mentally and focus your attention on the grindier tasks below.

Three achievements are tied to the game's endings:

  • As Long as Any Hope Remains - Reach the "As Long as Any Hope Remains" ending
  • At the Thousand-Year Journey's End - Reach the "At the Thousand-Year Journey's End" ending
  • The Peace in Which We Walk - Also tied to the "At the Thousand-Year Journey's End" ending

Two of those three point to the same ending, so you'll need at least two playthroughs (or a well-timed save) to collect all three.

Weapon mastery achievements: what's the fastest approach?

Seven achievements require racking up kills with specific weapons. Each has its own threshold, and the numbers vary by weapon type:

Bombs are the outlier at 100 kills, which makes sense given they're a consumable. For everything else, commit to one weapon at a time rather than switching constantly. Pick the weapon you're unlocking next, equip it as your primary, and just play normally. Trying to grind all six simultaneously will slow everything down.

Faie, your companion fairy, has her own achievement track separate from Elliot's combat stats:

  • Fighting Fairy - Defeat 30 enemies using Faie's attacks
  • Wisdom Revealed - Unlock all of Faie's fairy powers
  • Wisdom Mastered - Fully enhance every one of Faie's fairy powers
  • Practice Perfect - Complete every one of Faie's magic lessons

Wisdom Mastered requires completing Wisdom Revealed first, so treat them as a two-step process. Practice Perfect unlocks as you work through the lessons, which become available progressively. Make a habit of checking for new lessons whenever you hit a new area.

Collectible achievements: what's worth tracking from the start?

Four achievements require hunting down every instance of a specific collectible type. These are the ones most likely to force a second playthrough if you're not paying attention:

  • Katzenmeister - Collect every cat in the game
  • History's Tapestry - Collect every manuscript
  • Weapons Collector - Collect all weapons
  • Accessory Collector - Collect all accessories (excluding bonus items)

For cats specifically, there are 50 scattered across every Age. The all cat locations guide has every position mapped out. Manuscripts are similarly spread across all four Ages, and the all manuscript locations guide covers every one for the History's Tapestry achievement.

Miscellaneous and grind achievements

These don't fit neatly into a single category but are worth keeping in mind throughout your run:

  • Good for Throwing and for Breaking - Destroy 200 barrels and pots
  • Master Mower - Cut grass 300 times
  • Smooth Fighting - Chain 30 bonus drops in a row
  • Want for Nothing - Accumulate 10,000 Tul total
  • One for the Road - Use Medicine 30 times
  • Monster of Fortune - Defeat a Jewelrie (rare enemy)
  • Reaper of Ruin - Defeat a Red Lizkit (rare enemy)
  • In Search of Ultimate Magicite - Form top-ranked Magicite for the first time
  • Professor of Magicite - Reach maximum Magicite form rank
  • Great Radiance of Life - Raise your vitality level to 10
  • Leae it to Me - Complete 15 quests
  • A Reliable Adventurer - Finish all quests in the game
  • Cardinal Hero - Complete the Hero's Trial

The two rare enemy achievements (Monster of Fortune and Reaper of Ruin) depend on random spawns, so you may need to revisit areas and reload if they don't appear. Grass-cutting and barrel-smashing will accumulate naturally if you're thorough during exploration, but it's worth being deliberate about it in early areas rather than assuming you'll hit the numbers later.
