The Jade Shadows: Constellations update brought four new Augment mods to Warframe, each tied to a specific frame and sold through particular Syndicates. These aren't minor tweaks. Depending on your build, they can meaningfully shift how a frame plays, especially for energy-hungry setups and Overguard stacking. Here's every new mod, what it actually does, and exactly where to buy it.

What are the new Augment mods in Jade Shadows: Constellations?

The update added four Augment mods covering Koumei, Temple, Dante, and Nokka. Every one of them costs 9 mod capacity at max rank, so plan your builds accordingly before slotting them in.

How do you get each Augment mod?

Every new Augment mod comes from Syndicate offerings, so you need standing with the right faction before you can buy one. Each mod is available from two Syndicates, giving you some flexibility depending on which factions you're already invested in. If you need to build standing from scratch or switch allegiances, check out the Warframe Syndicates guide for the most efficient farming routes.

Which Augment mod is worth using?

Noctua Swarm (Dante)

For energy-focused builds, Noctua Swarm is the standout. The Alternate Fire mechanic releases Paragrimms that stay active for 15 full seconds, covering an 8m radius around wherever you aim. The combination of silencing enemies and funneling their energy to your team makes this genuinely strong in group content where energy economy matters. If your Dante build already leans into energy generation, this mod feeds directly into that loop.

Rhythm Guard (Temple)

Rhythm Guard rewards precise ability timing with up to 1600 Overguard per Beat. The scaling is real: you start at 100 and double on each successful Backbeat ability use. Miss a single Beat and the counter resets to zero, so this mod punishes sloppy play hard. It's high-ceiling, high-risk, and worth it if you've already got Temple's rhythm system down.

Kumihimo Loading (Koumei)

Kumihimo Loading adds a meaningful payoff to Koumei's weapon kill passive. After 6 kills under the passive's effect, you bank a guaranteed 6-roll die. Holding to cast an empowered Kumihimo and spending those dice creates a reliable damage spike that removes the randomness Koumei players typically have to accept. If variance frustrates you on Koumei, this mod is the direct answer.

Reroot Rampage (Nokka)

Reroot Rampage ties directly into Nokka's Reroot orb collection, summoning extra Sprodlings that deal 250 Toxin damage with boosted Critical Chance on every hit. For players who build around Nokka's mushroom damage output, this stacks well with existing Sprodling-focused setups. It's a narrower mod than Noctua Swarm but fits cleanly into the right build.

How do Augment mods fit into your broader build?

Augment mods occupy a mod slot like any other, so the 9-capacity cost at max rank is a real consideration. For frames that are already capacity-tight, you may need a Forma or two to make room without sacrificing core mods. The Warframe modding guide covers how to optimize capacity and prioritize slots if you're not sure where to cut.

For players just getting into the Constellations content, the new frames Sirius and Orion also arrived with this update. Getting them involves a separate acquisition path, covered in the Sirius and Orion farming guide.
