Warframe: Update 44: Iceblade of Narin

Warframe Update 44: Iceblade of Narin introduced a brand-new currency called Entropic Kuva, and it is the free-to-play path to Narin, the game's 66th Warframe. This is not the same Kuva you burn on Riven rerolls. It is a completely separate resource with one purpose: buying Narin's blueprints and her signature gear from Cephalon Melica. The fastest way to stack it is hunting Entropic Eximus enemies across Zariman Ten Zero missions, and this guide covers everything you need to know to do that efficiently.

What are the prerequisites for farming Entropic Kuva?

Before you can farm or spend Entropic Kuva effectively, two quest chains need to be completed:

  • Angels of the Zariman unlocks the Zariman Ten Zero tileset where Entropic Eximus spawn.
  • Whispers in the Walls unlocks Cephalon Melica's Classroom Supplies shop.

Both are required. Once you finish them, Melica sends an inbox message directing you to Yuvan Peak on Earth. You can also reach her shop via Fast Travel from the Chrysalith aboard the Zariman. Either location points to the same inventory, so use whichever is faster to navigate to.

If you are still working through the story, prioritize those quests first. Stockpiling Entropic Kuva before Melica's shop is open is pointless since it has no other use.

Entropic Kuva is untradeable. You cannot buy it from other players or the Trading Post. Every unit has to be farmed yourself.

How do you farm Entropic Kuva?

Entropic Kuva has exactly one source: Entropic Eximus enemies. These foes appear in any Zariman mission at a higher spawn rate than standard Eximus types, so you will encounter them regularly without needing to hunt specific rooms.

Each kill yields roughly 3 to 5 Entropic Kuva depending on the run. A Resource Booster doubles that amount per kill, making it the single most impactful tool for speeding up the farm.

How do you actually kill Entropic Eximus?

Entropic Eximus enemies are wrapped in a large red protective bubble that deflects most ranged fire from outside. Shooting through the barrier from a distance wastes ammo and time. The correct approach:

  • Step inside the bubble to bypass the barrier's damage resistance.
  • Use melee attacks as your primary damage source. Your Operator can deal damage too, but at a reduced rate.
  • Visit Yuvan Peak and interact with Narin's Crest and iceblade to receive a melee damage boost against these enemies, which significantly speeds up clears.
  • Keep moving once inside the bubble. These enemies hit hard at close range.

During Void Angel encounters in Zariman missions, extra Entropic Eximus units join the fight. That is free additional Entropic Kuva if you are prepared for a tougher fight.

What are the best Zariman missions for farming?

Entropic Eximus can appear on any Zariman node, so the goal is picking missions that pack the most enemies into the least time. Endless and high-density modes keep spawns rolling, while Exterminate suits quick repeatable sessions.

Playing in a full squad raises spawn rates across the board, meaning more Entropic Eximus per minute than solo. Bring a Warframe that clears rooms quickly. Saryn, Mesa, Gauss, and Volt all perform well on the Zariman.

Running Void Cascade or Void Armageddon also gives you a secondary benefit: Narin's component parts drop directly as rotation rewards from those nodes, so you can collect both the currency and the parts simultaneously.

warning
Resource Boosters, Drop Chance Boosters, and companion mods do not affect Entropic Kuva drops. The amount is fixed per kill, so the only way to get more is to kill more Eximus.

How much Entropic Kuva do you need for Narin?

The full Narin set costs 790 Entropic Kuva from Cephalon Melica's Classroom Supplies. Here is the exact breakdown:

Loading table...

Buy the three component blueprints first (Chassis, Neuroptics, Systems), craft them in your Foundry, then use those finished parts to build the main Narin blueprint. This is the standard Warframe build loop.

With a Resource Booster active and a full squad running Void Cascade, 790 Entropic Kuva is achievable across one or two solid sessions rather than a multi-week grind. Confirm the current costs in Melica's in-game shop before spending, since Digital Extremes occasionally adjusts prices in post-launch hotfixes.

What else can you buy with Entropic Kuva?

Melica's Classroom Supplies stocks more than just Narin's frame parts. Once you have all four blueprints, leftover Entropic Kuva can go toward:

  • Nunchasa bow blueprints and components (Narin's signature weapon)
  • Aksondol dual pistol blueprints and components
  • Armor pieces, weapon skins, and decorations
  • Captura scenes, ephemera, sigils, and cosmetics
  • Up to four purchases of 10,500 regular Kuva per week

The weekly Kuva option is worth noting for players who want to top up their Riven reroll supply without running Kuva Siphons.

Is there an RNG shortcut to get Narin faster?

Yes. Narin's individual components also drop directly as rotation rewards from specific Zariman missions, bypassing Entropic Kuva entirely:

  • Chassis drops from Void Flood rotations
  • Systems drops from Void Armageddon at Oro Works
  • Neuroptics drops from Void Cascade
  • Main Blueprint drops from Zariman Exterminate as an end-of-mission reward

Drop chances sit around 4 to 8 percent per rotation depending on which rotation tier you hit. That is a low percentage, but since the best Entropic Kuva farms run Void Cascade and Void Armageddon anyway, the part drops come as a free bonus on top of the currency you are already collecting. The honest take: chasing parts as your primary strategy is a gamble. Farming Entropic Kuva for Melica's shop is the more predictable route.

tip
Narin's main blueprint has roughly a 4.65% chance to drop from Zariman Exterminate end-of-mission rewards. Worth grabbing if it falls, but not worth building your entire farm strategy around.

For players building out their Zariman collection alongside Narin, the Afentis Prime relic locations guide and the Voruna Prime relics guide are worth bookmarking. For everything else related to the game's current update cycle, the full Warframe guides collection has you covered.
