The Tracks of the Beast quest sends you back to Pendola Pass, the snowy map added in the Frozen Trail update for ARC Raiders. The objectives look simple on paper, but knowing exactly where to go and which enemies to watch out for saves a lot of time. This walkthrough covers every step from the first waypoint to the optional bonus objective.
How to start Tracks of the Beast
Before dropping into Pendola Pass, make sure you have a loadout that can handle a few ARC encounters. You won't need to kill anything to complete the main quest, but the map's new enemies hit hard enough to end your run before you reach the extraction point.
tip
Bring a weapon with decent range for dealing with Skulkers. They close distance fast, and being caught in the open without a way to push them back is a quick way to lose your gear.
Drop into Pendola Pass and navigate to the Northern Tracks POI, found at the northern tip of the map. The name is literal, so orient yourself toward the top of the map and follow the tracks. Reaching this location triggers the next objective automatically.

Step 2: Find the destroyed station at the end of the tracks
From Northern Tracks, head southwest until you reach Almatera Station. This is the destroyed station the quest is pointing you toward. Arriving at the station completes this portion of the objective without any additional action required.
tip
Almatera Station sits southwest of Northern Tracks, so resist the urge to wander north or east once you clear the first POI. A straight southwest line gets you there quickly.
How do you ping a Bully and a Skulker?
The final objective requires you to ping two specific ARC enemy types: a Skulker and a Bully. Both were introduced in the Frozen Trail update, so they're unique to Pendola Pass content.
Finding and pinging a Skulker
Skulkers roam across the map and are relatively common. They look like futuristic remote-controlled cars and move quickly. After testing encounters with these enemies, getting swarmed by multiple Skulkers at once is genuinely dangerous, so ping your target and create distance immediately. You don't need to kill it to complete the objective, but clearing it removes the threat.

Finding and pinging a Bully
Bullies appear near POIs throughout the map. One reliable spot is near Almatera Station itself, which makes it convenient to handle both the station objective and the Bully ping in the same area. These enemies are larger and faster than Skulkers and can destroy you in seconds if you're caught in the open without cover. For the purposes of this quest, you only need a ping, not a kill, so use cover to get the ping off and then move on.
What is the optional objective for Tracks of the Beast?
Once the main objectives are done, you have the option to kill 3 Skulkers and return a Skulker Targeter to Shani. This is entirely optional, but completing it extends the quest's reward value. If you've already been pinging Skulkers across the map, you're likely already close to the kill count anyway.
After finishing the optional objective (or skipping it), extract from Pendola Pass and return to Speranza to turn in the quest.
