Genshin Impact brings five new free-to-play weapons with the Snezhnaya region, and they are genuinely worth building toward. Every one of them is craftable, meaning no gacha luck required. After buying a diagram, return to Kuzmichev and select the crafting option. Learn the recipe and then forge the weapon. The actual crafting step requires a Billet for the matching weapon type, more Rainbowdrop Crystals, and White Iron Chunks.
All Snezhnaya raftable weapons
All five weapons are 4-star rarity. Their stats and passives are tailored for characters who trigger Elemental Reactions, with several explicitly boosting the new Stellar Glimmer reaction introduced in Snezhnaya.
Emberwell (Sword)
Base ATK at level 90: 509.61 | Bonus Elemental Mastery: 165
Triggering any Elemental Reaction increases the equipped character's ATK by 16% for 12 seconds. Triggering a Stellar Glimmer reaction also increases their Stellar Glimmer DMG by 16% for 12 seconds. Both effects activate even when the character is off-field.
Covenant of Frost and Snow (Bow)
Base ATK at level 90: 509.61 | Bonus DEF: 51.73%
For 12 seconds after using an Elemental Skill, the equipped character gains 120 Elemental Mastery. The DEF substat is unusual for a bow, pointing toward DEF-scaling support archers rather than pure damage dealers.
Blade of Atonement (Claymore)
Base ATK at level 90: 564.78 | Bonus ATK: 27.56%
Triggering an Elemental Reaction grants 64 Elemental Mastery for 12 seconds. Triggering a Stellar Glimmer reaction adds 16% ATK for 12 seconds. Off-field activation applies here too. The higher base ATK and dual-scaling passive make this one of the more flexible options in the set.
Echoes of the Heart (Catalyst)
Base ATK at level 90: 564.78 | Bonus ATK: 27.56%
Triggering an Elemental Reaction gives 60 Elemental Mastery for 12 seconds. Triggering a Stellar Glimmer reaction boosts Stellar Glimmer DMG by 16% for 12 seconds. Off-field activation is included. The Catalyst version mirrors the Claymore in base stats but swaps the ATK buff on Stellar Glimmer for a direct DMG bonus, making it better for reaction-focused catalyst users.

Triggering an Elemental Reaction regenerates 4 Elemental Energy for the equipped character, with a 9-second cooldown. Triggering a Stellar Glimmer reaction increases ATK by 20% for 12 seconds. Off-field activation applies to both effects. The energy regeneration passive is the most unique in the set and makes this a practical option for polearm users who struggle with Energy Recharge.
Which characters benefit most from these weapons?
Every weapon in this set rewards Elemental Reaction triggers, and the Stellar Glimmer bonuses make them particularly effective on characters built around that new reaction type. Where to farm the crafting materials
Rainbowdrop Crystals are found across Teyvat, so stock is rarely an issue. The regional plants (Red Beet, Rimecurrant, Glaciafruit, Snowball Flower, Lumifluorite) all grow in Snezhnaya and respawn on the standard schedule. White Iron Chunks for the actual forge step are abundant in Stormbearer Mountains and Wolvendom if you need a quick top-up.
Billets remain the main bottleneck. Each weapon type needs its matching Billet, and those come exclusively from the Snezhnaya Trounce domains. Clear them weekly and prioritize the Billet type for the weapon you want first.
