The Frozen Trail update for ARC Raiders is the biggest the game has seen, and Embark is sweetening the deal with two free backpack cosmetics you can earn just by watching streams on Twitch. No gameplay required, no purchases needed. Two hours of your time gets you both rewards, and you have until November 4, 2026 to collect them.
What Twitch Drops are available in Frozen Trail?
There are two new Twitch Drop rewards tied to the Frozen Trail update, and both are Backpack Attachments. These are purely cosmetic, so they won't affect how you play, but they do add some personal flair to your loadout presentation.
Here's the full breakdown of what's available, how long you need to watch, and when the window closes:
Reward
Watch Time Required
Drop Window Ends
Oxygen Respirator Backpack Attachment
60 minutes
November 4, 2026
Mailbox Backpack Attachment
2 hours total
November 4, 2026
The watch times are cumulative, so the 60 minutes you spend earning the Oxygen Respirator counts toward the 2-hour total for the Mailbox. You're not starting from scratch for the second reward.
ARC Raiders Frozen Trail Twitch Drops: All Rewards & How to Claim Them
Before a single minute of viewing counts, your Embark ID and Twitch account need to be connected. Skipping this step means your watch time goes untracked, and you won't be able to retroactively claim that time once you link up later.
Here's the exact process:
Head to the Embark ID portal at id.embark.games and sign in to your account.
Navigate to the Connected Platforms section.
Link your Twitch account from the list of available platforms.
While you're there, confirm that your gaming platform (PC, console) is also connected to your Embark ID.
Watch any Drops-enabled ARC Raiders stream on Twitch for the required duration.
Once you hit the time threshold for a reward, open your Twitch Drops Inventory and manually claim it.
warning
Progress only tracks after both accounts are linked. Don't start watching until you've confirmed the connection is active, or that time is gone.
Why bother with Twitch Drops?
Free cosmetics are always worth grabbing if you're already playing ARC Raiders during the Frozen Trail launch window. The Oxygen Respirator and Mailbox Backpack Attachments give your character a distinct look without touching your wallet, and two hours of background streaming is a low bar for two permanent cosmetic unlocks.
The Frozen Trail update itself brings enough new content to keep you busy while the streams run. Check out the full breakdown of everything new in the Frozen Trail update to see what's waiting for you in-game, from Pendola Pass to the new Weapon Amplification system.
tip
The Frozen Trail update also launched alongside a free-to-play weekend, meaning new players can jump in and earn these drops without owning the game.
How to find Drops-enabled streams
Not every ARC Raiders stream on Twitch will count toward your Drop progress. You need to watch a stream that has Drops enabled by the broadcaster.
The easiest way to find one:
Go to Twitch and search for ARC Raiders in the directory.
Look for the Drops Enabled tag on stream thumbnails.
Click into any tagged stream and your progress will begin accumulating automatically once your accounts are linked.
If you're unsure whether a stream is counting, check the Drops & Rewards section in your Twitch account settings. Active progress shows up there in real time.
tip
Streaming the game yourself does not count toward Drop progress. You need to be a viewer on someone else's Drops-enabled broadcast.
Don't miss the November 4 deadline
Both rewards share the same end date: November 4, 2026. After that, the Drops window closes and the Oxygen Respirator and Mailbox Backpack Attachments will no longer be earnable through Twitch. There's no indication these will return through other means.
With the Frozen Trail release date and global start times confirmed for October 8, 2026, you have roughly four weeks to log the two hours needed. That's a comfortable window, but it's worth setting up your account connection now rather than scrambling later.
