Safe Harbor is part of the Riven Tides questline and sits a few steps into your progress with Tian Wen. The quest sends you across the western side of the Riven Tides map to recover a buried component, and the catch is that every objective must be wrapped up within a single raid. Die before extracting, or drop the key item, and you restart from scratch on your next run. That makes preparation more important than the objectives themselves.

How to find the kitchen clue at Hotel Panorama Azzurro
Hotel Panorama Azzurro sits on the western side of the Riven Tides map. Approach from the south and enter through the main entrance. Once inside, look immediately to your right (GameSpot's guide notes a right turn; Deltia's Gaming describes a left turn to reach the elevator shaft, so the exact angle depends on your entry point, but the zipline is directly off the main lobby).
Take the zipline up. You want to jump off at the second-to-last floor rather than riding it all the way to the top. After dismounting, take a right. The kitchen is on your right side down that corridor. Head to the counter at the far end of the kitchen and interact with the prompt to take a photo. That completes the first objective and reveals a sketch of a tennis racket as the next clue.

Jump off the zipline at the second-to-last floor, not the roof. Riding it to the top puts you past the kitchen entrance and costs you time backtracking.
How to find the area portrayed in the sketch
The tennis racket sketch points you directly to the Tennis Court POI, which is south of Hotel Panorama Azzurro and close enough to reach on foot without a significant detour. Walk the outer left edge of the courts and your quest tracker will update, confirming you are in the right spot.
The dig site is in the sandy area just beside the Tennis Court. According to Deltia's Gaming, there is a shovel half-buried in the ground up the hill on the left side of the courts. Interact with the dig prompt to trigger the digging sequence.

How to dig up the Precision Gimbal
Once the digging sequence completes, you automatically receive the Precision Gimbal. Do not wait. Open your inventory immediately and move the Precision Gimbal into your safe pocket. This is the single most important action in the entire quest. If you die carrying it loose in your regular inventory, the item is lost and the quest resets.
Move the Precision Gimbal to your safe pocket the moment you pick it up. A safe pocket protects the item through death, but only if you put it there before getting downed.
With the Gimbal secured, your only remaining task is a clean extraction back to Speranza.
How to deliver the Precision Gimbal to Tian Wen
Extracting safely is the final condition. The quest does not register as complete until you are back in Speranza. Once there, open the Traders tab and navigate to Tian Wen's page. Interact with it to hand over the Precision Gimbal and claim your rewards.
If you die during extraction or drop the item before reaching the exit, the quest resets. You will need to repeat all four objectives from the beginning on your next raid. There is no partial progress saved between runs, as confirmed by both GameSpot and Destructoid in their April 28, 2026 coverage.
Do you need to complete Safe Harbor in a single round?
Yes. All four objectives must be completed within one continuous raid session on the Riven Tides map. There is no checkpoint system that carries progress across sessions. Plan your route before dropping in: hotel kitchen first, then Tennis Court, then straight to extraction. Avoid unnecessary fights that could get you killed while carrying the Gimbal.
