The Ruins and Reverberations quest in ARC Raiders picks up right where the antenna work from Wires Crossed left off. This time, the job is to head into Pendola Pass and connect a Spotter Relay to the antenna on the roof of Cielo Sereno Observatory. Simple enough on paper, but the quest has a second phase it doesn't warn you about, and getting your hands on a Spotter Relay in the first place requires dealing with some genuinely dangerous enemies.
Getting a Spotter Relay before you drop
Spotter Relays drop from Spotters, the small circular flying drones that orbit Bombardiers and mark nearby players for targeting. They go down fast, but the real threat is the Bombardier itself. If a Spotter clocks you, the Bombardier locks on and starts lobbing explosive mortar shots that are very hard to dodge in open terrain.
The cleanest approach is to make noise at a distance to pull the Spotter's attention, then drop it immediately with a high-damage weapon before it can relay your position. If the Bombardier does register your location, break line of sight and wait it out. Once the Bombardier moves on, grab the Spotter wreckage and you have your Relay.
Finding the right antenna on the observatory roof
With the Spotter Relay in hand, head into the Pendola Pass map and locate Cielo Sereno Observatory on the northeast side. Bring a grappling hook, zipline, or snap hook if you have one. The building's exterior roof has multiple antennas, and picking the wrong one wastes time.
The antenna you need is on the south side of the building, roughly at the halfway point. Interact with it and slot in the Spotter Relay. The result is a failure, but that's expected. The quest doesn't end here.
The crawlspace fix that the quest doesn't mention
After the antenna interaction fails, drop through the holes in the roof into the main observatory interior. From there, find one of the floor openings that lead into the darkened crawlspace beneath the building, which sits above the lower catwalks. Head as far south as the crawlspace allows, follow the corridor to the point directly beneath the antenna, and you'll see the interaction prompt to weld the wires.
Once the wires are welded, climb back up to the roof and interact with the antenna a second time. That completes the quest objective and triggers the loud audio cue that signals nearby threats. Extract to claim the rewards.
Here's the full loot breakdown for completing Ruins and Reverberations:
| Reward | Quantity |
|---|---|
| Smoke Grenade | x2 |
| Looting Mk.3 (Safekeeper) Augment | x1 |
| Electrical Components | x3 |
| Speakers | x2 |
| XP | 5,000 |
The Looting Mk.3 Safekeeper Augment is the standout reward here, making this quest worth prioritizing early if you're building toward a scavenging-focused loadout.
